just to clarify, MD was saying that the tube tuners of yore were sonically better than theirs but that the reception was swallowed by tube noise on distant stations.
Ok guys I have two Scott tube tuners, (LT 110-B) and a (310-E). I also have a fully modded Sansui TU 710. I was just inquiring as to what other members are using to listen to FM these days, and how the Scotts compare to the other more popular tuners.
Marantz 10B I have been warming it up for 3 hour`s for Sunday night blues. KPLU Seattle one of the best Jazz/Blues station in the US. Happy listening David
I am using a Scott 350C and LOVE it. I have also had a 350A that was very nice. I would highly recommend the 350 series....very nice looking units as well.
