The best speaker you ever heard?

In my opinion, the speaker is by far the most important part of the audio system. After all, it is the only part you hear. OK, the other stuff really matters a lot, but without a great speaker... No go.

I am a bit 'speaker-obsessed' I guess, and now I am wondering: What are the best speakers you have ever heard, and what made them the best?

Vandersteen 5, in a well treated room behind Shunyata power, Audio Research ref pre/amp, dCS stack. Niiiice.

With no doubt, the Kharma Exquisite Midi, amplified by tubes. These beauties are very expensive, about 80k$, but if you can invest this huge amount of money, do it...

The KEF Concept Blade speakers I heard at the 09 Munich high end show. People were in the KEF booth for hours after the show closed still listening.
