Twisting Anti-Cables

This is a simple question. I need a clarification.

I am going to twist some of Paul Speltz Anti-Cable wires together. The suggested twisting is "2-4 full twists per foot". My question is this: What constitutes a "full" twist?

Starting with 2 wires, one on the left and one on the right, is a full twist simply crossing one wire over the other so that the left wire is now on the right, or is a full twist crossing one wire over the other and then back again, so the left wire is back on the left?

I twisted my Anti-Cables, listened, and then untwisted them. When twisted, the soundstage width and depth shrunk, and the lows were a bit sloppy. The differences are not major, but in my system, it was quite clear that the separate cables were the preferred setup.

By the way - a full twist is using 360 degrees on each twist...1/2 twist is 180 degrees at each twist.

I wouldn't fret the details. I crossed mine over very loosely so if I didn't like it, it would be easy to go back to straight wire without having to unbend the kinks. I noticed a slight increase in highs, nothing huge. I assume more twists will result in more high detail, but I feel this cable has enough as is. YMMV. Biggest difference for me is when they are twisted they don't make any noise when you move them around. When they are to seperate wires, they tend to clang against each other if you know what I mean.
