cable advice for subwoofer

Is there any particular kind or characteristic of interconnect cable which is best for connection of a subwoofer? (connecting pre/pro to X-30 crossover of paradigm reference servo 15 sub)

Bass Euphoria Cables at www.jeffssoundvalues.com have done wonders for many several subs. Fast, deep, articulate below 100Hz.
What about using a "y" adapter for a sub that only has left and right inputs? I was told by dealer just to connect to left, any reason to use both inputs?
While it may be true-you do not have to have any "fancy" cable to provide a subwoofer,I do disagree with the use of RG-6 cable use. I had a Mirage BPS-150i sub temporarily in use w/RG-6 cable, soon changed to Monster Cable. The difference was subtle-faster,cleaner,definitly blended better-yet subtle.Later I upgraded to a Mirage BPS-400 sub and found myself again temporarily using RG-6.It sounded worse than my little BPS-150i and practically less noticable impact.Soon after I went with UltraLink. The difference was amazing-in ALL aspects. One key note-I also had to trim BOTH sub level and preamp sub level to HALF what is was when RG-6 was in place.Technically there isn't much difference between Monster Cable and UltraLink,so the extreme change may have been caused by not only the cable but also the subs--Smaller and less powerfull sub vs. larger and more powerfull sub,and/or the built in amps--discrete MOSFET class A/B vs. Pulse Width Modulation MOSFET and servo control.Either way,the BPS-400 is much like the Paradigm Servo 15 in those reguards.Forget RG-6.
I have to agree with Tom_Nice. I purchased sub cables from Serguei at Stealth Audio and they were significantly better than the monster cables with a local audio store recommended. They were approximately the same price as the Monster and the sound was much tighter and quicker. They sound like different subs. I have two Atlantic Technology 350's (12 inch, 200 watts) I do not believe you can get better cables for the price or even for several times the price.
Just use Tributraries(spelling?) Subwoofer cable which is a long Y connect. I think it works great in my system.
