I don't know the name of the song so I also don't know what album it's on. The opening lyrics go: "You know if you break my heart I'll cry but I'll be back again." Anybody know what song I'm talking about?-- Thank God I'm only typing the lyrics ?
"I'll Be Back" is on the Beatles' Hard Day's Night album (UK version; blue cover), as well as on Beatles '65. FWIW, the Buckinghams did a version in 1968 that was arguably better.
Thanks,Rich. I was in Cosco the other day and they had 8/10 cds by the lads. I read the songs description on each and couldn't find it. But;I obviouslly missed it 'cause HD's Night was there. On the Buckinghams they were 'kind of a drag' ?? I don't remember anything else they did. Any Buckinghams member go solo; or is there a famous member?--- There are many 'covers' of Beattles songs. Emmylou's Hear There and Everywhere,being one of 'em. Lots more I can't remember.--- I wasn't much of a fan of pre Sgt.Pepper stuff. But that was the start--I latter started liking the --by then--older stuff.
