New Cary CD player303/300 w/ tubes

Just picked it up, couldn't be happer. The detail in the palyer is awesome and the sound stage is nice and wide but not to wide. I really like being able to switch from the tubes to the solid state. I have all tube stuff but some music just sound a bit crisper with the solid state and it sutes the music better, however I will use the tubes more it is a ritcher sound. WHat a improvement over last years model. Overall I think I found a winner.

FWIW, this machine has a very long break-in time. Like 400+ hours, so don't go too crazy trying to dial things in. I'm using a solid state amp, so was able to hear all the wild changes it went thru. And I advise that you do use the supplied 18g power cord to start out with.

Reb, Programmer: did you guys happen to find your players at less than the $4k MSRP? I've looked but haven't found any "discounts" yet. Maybe Cary requires its dealers to sell at MSRP(?).
