What kind of amplification for Martin Logan SL3 ?

I just bought a pair of SL3's and I was going to try the Sunfire Cinema Grand(biwiring the 3rd and 4th channel for stereo use until I can afford the center and surround channels. I noticed no one mentioned Sunfire equipment, Any reason? Also will the Sinema Grand be able to handle the dip to 1.5 ohms? The amp is only rated at 2 ohms, thanks for helpful comments.

While I'm asking advice on SL3's... What type of cable can anyone recommend? I saw Audioquest Argent for $500...Worthwhile or not?

I can't comment on Argent, but I've used both AQ Midnight and Clear with good results. Same hyperlitz family as Argent, more or less. Those in the know say that Goertz are really the way to go -- I'm going soon. Good luck.

I´ve used a double run of Argent with the Logans, (Sequel II, SL-3, reQuest) it´s an excellent combo. Regarding the amp, McCormack is a great match. Happy hunting!
