speakers with Ebony finish

I am looking for a high quality speaker that offers a real ebony veneer as an option. Not "ebony in color" but actually ebony wood.

So far I have only come across the ProAc line. Any other suggestions out there? I do not want to break the bank but would consider a moderately priced unit (2500-4000).

Albert, do you happen to have the approximate measurements for the Alpha S? Thanks.
Thanks for the info Albert. I think that new speakers are going to be the next "major" purchase. I'm having a hard time trying to sift through all of the possibles. I really want to build my own, and the GR's give me that option. Being the Audio Note fan that I am, the AN/E Kit 3's have been looking good, but now the GR's must be given some serious consideration. If you have heard the AN/E's, either kit or factory, I would appreciate a comparison.

Vnt001, also, the AN/E kit is something you might want to consider if you do go the DIY route. Then you can finish (or have them finished) as you desire.

tyler acoustics web site takes you to the company that they get all their veneer from. i am having ty building me the woodmere's in ebony macassar with the external crossovers. this is a premium upgrade so depending on the size of the speakers will determine the price. there is a variety of ebony's with different color patterns in the wood grain so be careful and make sure you get what you want. i wanted the black and tan with the wood quartered so when it is finished in satin it will bring out all the colors compared to a piece that is unfinished.
go to the web search and put in ebony wood and it will take you to all the different websites to get an idea
