Girlfriends and wifes, how do YOU cope?

I would be very interested in finding out how one manages to justify (or sneak in the home) expensive audio equipment without having to sell your soul to the Devil? It's quite a challenge for many of us I think. I heard of someone buying a Bel Canto DAC and telling his girlfriend that " Oh it's just a $ 100.00 power conditionner", or whatever. Seem like we need to get creative here if we can pursue this crazy hobby much longer! Regards All...

well I posted here 3 yrs ago and Audio and the little woman are even better now than 3 yrs ago.

Hell she is heading up our new dedicated HT room that we are having designed and built. She eve says that we need another sub woofer only for movies and she still loves 2 channel!

not harsh at all. simply not going to be told what i can do and cannot do, marriage had not been a partnership for me it was a dictatorship......... NEVER again thats all, now pass the tube-sauce !

My wife once told friends that a man should have a vice that keeps him home even when she is out.
She even helped me choose the colors and decor for our dedicated listening room.
Our friends think me lucky;so do I.
