Vibraplane question

Hello,

I just got a used 2210 passive version from an auction here on Audiogon. No manual came with it. Can anyone tell me if I am supposed to pump it up first and then sit the tt on top?

How do you know when you have put enough air in it? Is there a relief valve to guard against over pressurizing?

Thanks for the offer. I will shoot you an email at Sounds of Silence. I was just about to order from you when this never used Vibraplane came up on auction. I couldn't pass up since funds are somewhat an issue and it was a great deal.

Enjoy your Vibraplane, glad you got one at a nice price. I'm actually surprised we don't see more on the used market with now over 6500 sold!

With the Vibraplane loaded, the top should be 3 3/4" above the table top as Steve mentions. I cut a wooden block that is 3 3/4" high and I just use that to guage the proper height. Performance will improve if your total load is close to the 275 lb maximum design load for the unit. Congratulations. These are excellent products.
