Hi Misternice, Your best cable should be between the pre-amp and the amp, the one would be good between the cd and pre, That surely would save alot of money, the one is a bench mark cable, of course, if you went further up the cable food chain, you would yield better results, really, the one is great for digital to your pre, thats what I would recommend, you got the idea already, go for it, cheers.
Hi there keith, the cd arrived thanks. It is my type of music and a excellent recording thankyou.
Hi misternice, sorry it took so long to get back to you, I am happy you like the cd, does it sound magical on your Tara onyx I/C ???, It should, the recording is good to my ears as it is to yours?, cheers.
Hi there keith, everything is good here. The new place im staying has a good size lounge to set up my stereo, and it sounds excellent. The onyx really is a good cable.Funny enough,I've gone from tara master gen2,to gen 1,on the cd player,I found 2 to be too bright in my system.Im happy enough with the kef ls50 monitors. So in time I'll play around a bit more and fine tune the power cables, and I'll be happy as,I think, add a sub. How's your system coming along.
Hi Bob, I got the Krell amp back, I have to buy another source, I do not have one at the moment, Going to get another vincent cds7 player, that was a very good musical player!, the funny thing is, it sounds alot better than the players that I have owned that costed three to four times the money,LOL!, I will be getting it together soon enough, I will keep the vincent untill I can or find or listen to something better, most digital so far is crap out there, the ones they say are good are not!, then the ones no one knows about, or even cares about because its not some pedigree brand player sounds hugely better!, cheers.
