Best movies last two years

I had high hopes for Sin City, but as I sat watching it, I couldn't get past the fact that its "plot" did not adapt to the screen no matter how technically strong it was. A History of Violence is a very good film w/violence that supports a plot (and what violence it is). Recently saw Amores Perros -- another very good film, albeit long.

Just saw "Cars" and thought it was great.

You know, I usually hate Ron Howard films, but I have to admit Cindarella Man is the one I have enjoyed the most since Gung Ho. Have I said how nice it is to see people posting foreign films on here? I thought I was the only one.

Sin City and Pride and Prejudice.

Have you seen Lady Vengeance yet?

We did see "Lady Vengeance". Absolutely incredible film. Unique, twisty, and visually stunning.

Others:
"The Best of Youth" (Italy) was superb.
"L'Enfant", the heart-breaking Belgian film by the Dardenne Brothers, who unlike Les Freres Coen, have yet to make a dud.
