yeah, I believe that was the title of the piece.......i will guess you will end up with the same thing you started with after cutting, just a smaller version? what do I win? or do I lose?
Stroboscopic disk sets wrong speed for turntable?
I would toggle the speed selector dial between all settings a couple of times, set back to 33.3 and see if that makes any difference. Maybe also lift the platter off and see if the belt is on correctly. Other than that I would suspect a motor issue.

Personally, I think M.C. Escher should get credit for the double helix; he had drawings of it a decade before Watson & Crick came along.

Nah, I think the concept stated in the OP is due mostly to a lot of folks just think they know more than they do. Don Rumsfeld came close to grasping the fundamentals of this in his theory of "known knowns" and "unknown knowns." It hurts your head...

six months later I will introduce a reverse thread adapter that will enhance the original bulb by several orders of magnitude Dilly Dilly

I will come out with the reverse threaded light bulb and stomp to a feverish beat about how great it is......but nobody will be able to use it in their existing sockets. I will blame them for this.
Adding a Sub do i go with 1 or 2 ?
What I like about the REL is that it connects to each of the two L & R positive speaker outputs and to either one of the negative outputs; so it gets the same signal the main speakers are getting. As for having one or two subs, one is ok for m...
Speaker Width?
Mine are about six feet apart center to center, about two feet from rear wall, listening at about nine feet from speakers, cabinets tilted so that I cannot see either side of the cabinet at listening position. It works for me. Plus nobody else is ...
Adding a Sub do i go with 1 or 2 ?
I use a REL just for the way they connect to the amp; only use one and find it suitable; guess it depends on your room size and characteristics as to whether one or two is more desirable; I'd get one and you can always get another one if you want to.
Chicago stereo shop recommendations
Music Direct; they have things from entry to esoteric
Going linear - The Luxman 507ux
I guess you got the brand new one currently listed on ebay then, eh. It's in Japan but can easily be here.
Sansui717 with 4 Bose 901VI issue (custom stand and subwoofer add on)
you can get a REL subwoofer; it has three lugs on one end and a Neutrik connector at the subwoofer end.....one lug to L+ one lug to R+ and the other to either L or R - at speaker output on amplifier.
What class of amplifier has the most high definition sound ?
I can't believe no one got that.......Oz Heh, I got it.....dilly dilly. My CD player says on the front :"vacuum tube reference CD player" but I don't know what the reference was. I sometimes listen to it , though.
My sacrilegeous question to audiophiles out there regarding parametric equalizer.
I especially like your blanket recommendation to just get some vintage small signal tubes and you wont need tone controls (thats exactly what they are). How do you know this? How do you know what sound the OP is looking for? What do you know abo...
