Throughly disappointed with my new Yamaha A-3000 Integrated.......
sounds like a good dealer.  Good luck, I was worried when mine had issues as I didn't want to go a different direction.  My new one is flawless and emits beautiful sound.
What do you think of your Soundsmith Cartridge
I had a Boheme; loved it.  Traded it in for Soundsmith The Voice.  I'm sticking with Soundsmith.  I will say with a disclosure that I do not have "golden ears", The Voice may be slightly better to my ears, but man the Boheme was hard to beat.
YAMAHA A S-3000 INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER REVIEW
@corks67 My first 3000 got very warm to hot and also had the "shut off" issue.  My dealer replaced the unit and now it's barely warm.
Recommend some Jazz to me
I entered the Jazz "pool" with Stan Getz.  Great stuff.  I like his Bossa Nova stuff also

advice for my clear audio analogue upgrade path
So after much consideration, I've decided to upgrade the Cart to Soundsmith "The Voice" and then the phono stage.  I believe I can still grab more from the table.

@joey54  thanks for the review and also making my first step the most expensive. :0.  I'm thinking my sound smith Boheme would be able to "pedal along" with the ovation.  Even so, I wonder if my clear audio basic + stage would mute the sound.......

@williewonka good stuff thanks for the advice!  I'm betting my guy isn't using anything more than the clear audio template for cart set up.

@joey54 interesting.  Did you compare with the same arm/cart also?  If I jump to the ovation, I'll still have my clarify arm and existing sound smith cart (which I have no issues with) on the Ovation.  It makes sense to solidify the "table" aspect...

@stringreen are you suggesting that my path based on my choice of upgrade levels are so incremental therefore not worth the hassle cost, or are you saying that at some point we all have to sit back and enjoy?  To the latter, I couldn't agree more ...

@williewonka I'll have to ask how my guy at the dealer sets up the carts
advice for my clear audio analogue upgrade path
@williewonka great questions to consider and challenge me on.  I'm thinking jumping quite a bit up the chain to the new Cart would lend a wider, more open detailed sound.  As for the phono stage, I can't say what I'd notice to be honest, with the ...
advice for my clear audio analogue upgrade path
Ok, so here's my thought.  My Performance DC has some room to enjoy improvements and starting with my new cart and or phono stage wouldn't be "overkill" for this table and both of these upgrades would be transferred over to new table. What do you ...
Throughly disappointed with my new Yamaha A-3000 Integrated.......
@jafant I'm in Green Bay, WI working with HiFi Heaven.  They are outstanding to deal with.  There was no hesitation from them to take care of me on this defective unit by getting another new unit to me.  I have been upgrading over time via their t...
Throughly disappointed with my new Yamaha A-3000 Integrated.......
Ok boys and girls, new A-S3000 unit came in and it's been playing all night without glitches.  Thank God as I didn't want to go to any other integrated.  I really enjoy what I hear as smooth, liquid, but detailed without being fatiguing.
