| What are the more subtle sounding tube preamps? The Herron preamp and the newer VAC preamps are all neutral sounding - do not have the traditional tube sound. Less midrange focus, and more soundstage extension and definitely tighter more pronounced bass. | |
| Tube Phono with Tube Integrated Amp? I've had a Primaluna HP Integrated with a Zesto Andros 1.2 phono stage and couldn't be happier. If you can get a used Zesto, it is the best value in my opinion. Best of luck. | |

I understand if your budget doesn't allow, but the Elipsa SEs fit smaller rooms much easier than the Olympica III and probably even the Cremonas.
