Splitter question
Adjust the volume on the Schiit and use the other as the primary. Or you can do it vice versa!

You will need something like this Schiit SYS. You will need a turntable that has a built in phono preamp or you will need a separate phono preamp!https://www.schiit.com/products/syshttps://www.schiit.com/products/sys
KEF Q350 with a Yamaha r-s202 receiver?
They will work well together!
Sloppy, muted bass response on Hegel h190
Most likely it’s those 35 year old KEF’s. Like anything else speakers don’t last forever!
KEF Q350 with a Yamaha r-s202 receiver?
That Yamaha is fine. Why would you want to replace it?
Stereo pre-amps with dual outs for bi-amping and a subwoofer line out
Rogue Audio has those features!http://www.rogueaudio.com/Preamplifiers.htm
Another "Help me choose my speakers" thread
You made a great choice with those Spendors. I have the smaller S5E’s and they are a great sounding speaker. BTW, the S6E was over 3 grand when new. You will sure like those Speakers. You will not need a subwoofer with them!

Want to get into Analog
A Technics SL-1200 would be a good start. Plenty of them listed on Ebay!
Which speakers for a Yamaha A-S2000
It sounds like you should stick with a new JBL!https://www.musicdirect.com/Search?searchterm=jbl&sort=popularity%7CDESC&page=1&pagesize...
Tube or solid state
A tube phono stage is the best place to start. That’s where the rubber meets the road! BTW, that Denon has a conical stylus and some say it is boring!
Recommendation about speakers with limited space behind
The KEF LS50 will fit. They have port plugs. There is a pair listed here for $850!https://www.kefdirect.com/speaker/flagship-hi-fi-speakers/ls50/ls50-mini-monitor-speaker.html
What setting should my amp’s input sensitivity switch be set at?
A CDP has an output of 2 volts which is enough to drive your amp. If you find it is too loud just change the setting on the amp to a higher setting to lower the volume. That is a nice feature on that amp!

BTW, This new Quicksilver sixty watt mono would be a nice fit with the Vandersteens!http://quicksilveraudio.com/products/sixty-watt-mono-amp/
