Anyone hear Robert Plant's new release, Carry Fire?
As I understand it they used multiple tracks for the vocals. I wonder if that's what is contributing to the poor mix. Not sure what they did on the instrumentals but as I stated, I really like the music but certainly don't care for how it was laid...
Room color opinions
I live in a (real) log home. Now how does that color affect sound?
Room color opinions
I can't believe we're actually having this discussion about color. My wife is a PhD. candidate doing "brain stuff" (don't ask me to explain because I can't).  I discussed this with her and came away with the understanding that the brain has a high...
Why do many discussions about sonic performance disintegrate into technical discusions?
Gee, and all I'm trying to do is learn about the science behind the Synergistic blue fuse which uses Quantum Inductive Coupling.  Can anyone explain that to me in a non-technical manner?
What is really the purpose of streaming??
What I like about streaming is as many here have mentioned, the access to literally millions of albums. I like to read through the music forum here and get ideas for new music. For example, one band that seems  popular from the classic rock era, t...
The new Synergistic Research BLUE fuses ....
Lol. As my daughter would say, "I know right?"
The new Synergistic Research BLUE fuses ....

It's rather interesting; I wanted to understand "Quantum Inductive Coupling" the "science" behind the SR blue fuses so I did a google search for the term. Has anyone here searched that term? Nothing comes up. Ok so then I thought, maybe this is pr...
Which Patricia Barber album floats yer boat?
Umm, I find the comments on this thread very interesting although I admit I haven't read them all. Perhaps I'll just be the quiet voice from the back of the room that has to say something, because I feel that Patricia Barber is one of the most tal...
This is for Georgehifi especially but others can chime in.
I always get a kick out of this (and no offense to mapman mind you) "I would be looking at something like Bel Canto ref600m amps for top notch sound, bang for the buck, manageable size, and low power consumption/electric bills". So we spend lit...
How does one (grow) as a music listener/lover?
I would also suggest checking out Echoes hosted by John Diliberto.https://echoes.org/
How does one (grow) as a music listener/lover?
This is fun. I have learned a lot about new/different music just perusing the music section of the forum here. Obviously with suggestions coming from fellow audio enthusiasts it has led to some interesting discoveries.

Usability Issues with Tidal
I ran a Blue Jeans Cable cat-6 data line directly to my Aurender N100H and tidal works great! No complaints at all with their service. I think hard wiring makes a big difference.
