Sold it...LOVE LOVE LOVE the music it made,couldn’t live with the 1950’s biasing method of flipping it upside down & poking around the inside trying to meter off resistors while adjusting pot,no thanks..

Totem Hawk too tough a load for that amp...The PERFECT speaker for you IMO is the Focal Aria 906! Front ported & voiced so the Bass isn’t SUPER Deep,especially for the size of the cabinet..HIGHLY regarded in review circles..Around $1000.00 + $...

Oh god yes...Anything from Q Acoustics,Dali or Elac at the entry level up to super high resolution speakers around $3500.00 or more will allow you to see how good that amp really is...Set a budget..Know what size speakers work best in your room,ie...

You said surround isn't your cup of tea BUT your looking at Multi Channel Surround Receivers?Do you listen to a lot of FM Radio?If not you want to look at a 2 channel Integrated  Amplifier...How big is your listening room?BIG speakers in a small r... 
Harbeth with Croft phono integrated vs Yamaha AS1100/AS2100
If it were me first I would sell the P3's & move up the Harbeth ladder then upgrade cables a couple levels...

Can't speak about the Raven but I can tell you the Cayin is a Mother Trucker to bias(unless they upgraded)you have to flip the HEAVY amp upside down.take the bottom cover off & monkey around the insides..Look for an amp from a maker smart enou... 
Question About DACs
It depends on your current system...IMO If you can tell the difference between different cables then yes you will see better performance,especially in low level detail..

Please take this in the spirit intended.It is highly unlikely you will be able to hear any difference in your system...That is a really good DAC & will scale up in speakers a long way..That is where you will be able to utilize the higher res... 
Upgrade my Yaqin MC-100b for $2,000 - should I or not?
My first tube integrated was a Yaqin & I'm a big fan,no doubt they punch way above their weight class...They use excellent quality Japanese steel in the transformers & play clean.Your going to have to really step up to see a major improvem...

Well I just got new Harbeth M30.1's so I'm having an aha moment about every other song...Before these speakers it was the first time I tried a tube amplifier... 
Bookshelf speakers for near-field (desktop) use
Underwood Wally here has those Scansonic MK5's for $479.00..They look like a killer desk top speaker but the small size won't scale up like the Dynaudio's or Dentons which could move to a larger listening room...

@freesole:YES,plenty of power..I am running Harbeth M30.1's with the Quad in a medium size treated room & it's heavenly...As long as you don't listen at headbanging levels or try to fill a BIG room you will get only beautifully voiced music..
