Lyngdorf TDAI-3400
Well, similar to the OP, I tried the same thing again the next day and mysteriously, it worked. There was nothing different about this attempt but somehow it was able to detect the microphone and I was able to launch Room Perfect. I will say thoug...
Lyngdorf TDAI-3400
I just received the 3400 and am trying to run Room Perfect but I can't seem to get it started. As soon as I run it, I hear a sound coming out of my left speaker (not the right) and I get the Signal Error and it prompts me to check my microphone co...
Bookshelf speakers for near-field (desktop) use
@genez Yeah I follow PS Audio's instagram and they have shown the enclosure for their smallest floor stander as well. Very interested in what they are going to come out with but should we be a little cautious that they are new to the speaker game?

@chiptech10 Will see if that is the case when I get the LS50W next week. If it is, I may consider the LSX then. People do seem to be very impressed by them.
Who are some of elite sub woofers?
Gonna say REL here. It was a huge step up from the Hsu Research sub that I had (and that one was already pretty nice to me at the time).

Ended up finding a good deal on the LS50 wireless and took the opportunity to give those a try. I'll post thoughts when I get them. If I don't like them, I think I can sell them rather easily at the price I got them so there is low risk to me.

@seanheis1 Another good candidate. Reviews so far seem to think that the LS50 Wireless is an overall better speaker though (though it is more expensive). The LS50W would scale up better for future uses as well.

3 votes already for the Denton - sounds like a popular, affordable desktop speaker. I'll have to look into this...

@seasdiamondUnfortunately the Ref 1 would be a bit outside my budget but the R3 is right in my wheelhouse. Not sure how they would perform near field but I would be able to return them if I don't like them so that is another consideration.
Luxman Integrated - What do they sound like
@arturgorniak Nice set of amps that you have been through. Not surprising that the Luxman 509x topped your list. It is fantastic providing vibrant, dynamic, controlled sound but is also a great all rounder. An end game amp for a lot of people.
A DAC that can make digital sound analog?
@vinci92 Your comments are making me very interested in the T2. Curious to hear the difference between it and the PS Audio Directstream Junior that I have.
A DAC that can make digital sound analog?
Another vouch for the PS Audio Directstream. I only have the DSJ but it is the best DAC that I have put in my system to date. Being able to upgrade as mentioned by @ayang90 through software updates is a big plus too. I am curious about the Lumin s...

Quite looking forward to having RC be employed in my room. My living room is open concept so the space is far from ideal - at least 20x30. I expect that the RC will be a welcome adjustment.

@jbmac75 @stevecham intrigued by the Denton suggestion. I looked them up. Only $499 at MD which is far below my budget. Not a bad thing. Have you compared them against the LS50?

@mrdon How far away do you sit from your S400's? Mine would be fairly close to me, in a 9' x 8' office. I am definitely intrigued though and would power it with either my PS Audio Sprout100 for now or my Anthem MRX510.
