My Long List of Amplifiers and My Personal Review of Each!
Viber:I am not sure how was unclear. I cannot take my father in law's amplifier and test it against mine. I live in southern Virginia and he lives in Chicago. I have never directly tested the units, except that I own a 2060 and my father in law ha...
My Long List of Amplifiers and My Personal Review of Each!
I have no idea where this rumor about Boulder could have come from,  they just built a new factory and i think the founder still owns it. I do know the 850, as my father in law owns a pair. They are in a different system than mine so it’s not fair...
My Long List of Amplifiers and My Personal Review of Each!
Boulder is most definitely NOT out of business. I get it serviced a great my dealer. I cannot really explain the difference between the 1060 and 2060. What I remember of the 1060 is that it was outstanding but I could get listening fatigue. I reme...
My Long List of Amplifiers and My Personal Review of Each!
I just want to give my support of the Boulder 2060. I have a Boulder 2060 and I think it is an amazing amplifier. To my ears it is neutral, revealing, and I get tons of signal. What is not, is forgiving. I think it may have to do with the rest of ...

RCA 1 Meter Interconnect Analysis Plus Silver Apex vs Cardas Clear vs
I just installed a full set of silver apex cables. They replaced a set of very well know expensive networked cables. The analysis plus cables are spectacular. I had to replace my speaker cables because my cables  did not work with my Boulder 2060....

Upgrading form Pass integrated amplifier to a better one
I apologize for the long delay regarding on the Boulder 865. I think it is a fantastic amplifier, and for the price, it is a giant killer. I was talked into the Boulder 865 by a dealer. I had actually wanted a Boulder 1010/1060 and the dealer insi...
Upgrading form Pass integrated amplifier to a better one
What about the Boulder 865. It’s a great integrat at an excellent price. It’s dead quiet and is very revealing. I’ll write more in a bit, but have to run an errand.
Boulder 865 vs. Arye Acoustics Ax-5 Twenty
The Boulder 865 is a fantastic integrated, and really a fantastic piece of gear. I found it to create exceptional music and punch above its price. Whith  the right partners it was exceptional. I found it significantly better than the dartzeel cth ...

I was in a very similar position to yours earlier this year. I had a Naim NDX, Naim Dac, Naim 555ps on both the NDX and the Dac. I loved Naim for a really long time. When I finally decided to move on from Naim amplifiers I kept the digital front e...
Help me choosing an Integrated Amp
What about a boulder 865? This might check all the boxes that you want. The 865 is class a for the first 15 or so watts then transitions to a/b for to 150 watts. The Boulder has everything that Boulder amplifiers are known for... they present what...
Beyond Ayre Pass and Rowland
boulder is excellent!  I would certainly put Boulder up against the best on the market. Vitus is great as well.
