ps audio multiwave II
Agree with above, multiwave II was a huge improvement over the original multiwave. I had the II+ and when I ran the clean sweep it messed with my tube equipment (made not so nice sounds) so I never used it anymore. I now have the Premier power pla...
need new rack with isolation in mind
Take a look at the Finite Elemente (Pagode) racks a little pricey but top notch!
Martin Logan's - work in a small room nearfield ?
Saki70, I use to own the Sequal II and the Acsent and they sounded there best when pulled out into the room about 6-7 feet from the wall and listening chair about 8-10 feet from face of speaker. I think the Logans will need some room to breath in ...
Quality Crimpers
Thomas & Betts make great crimpers, I like them a bit better than the Klien, should run you about $20
A series of underperforming setups...Solution?
I agree with others that your room and speaker placement is more likely the main problem. When using rooms for multipurpose you need to make sacrafices like moving speakers out from the wall a bit more, room treatments, listening position, etc, et...
When was the Classe 5l built? Before the CP-40?
After david Reich left as mentined above all the Dr came off. I think it was Glen Greu that took over from there and later went to Theta.
Xmas gift suggestions

Thinking of modding my 834p, or should I move on?
I use to own the 834 and I was considering having it modded by Mitch Singerman, $300-$500 depending how far you wanted to take it. He knows the 834 very well. Do a search and you will find much info!
Best wood for making an isolation platform?
Timbernation makes nice one too and they don't warp!

Power Stabalizers/Regenerators. I'm Confused...
You can get a local electrician to do this or you can visit your local high end shop and maybe they can refer some body. Do a search here and over at AA and you will find lots of info.
Power Stabalizers/Regenerators. I'm Confused...
I suggest you try one or two as they all seem to effect each system sonics differently. Take advantage of the 30 day trial some have. I use passive conditioning for my amps along with regeneration and conditioning for all my sources as this has wo...
Tubes with Tylers
Thanks to all for the suggestions, however Iv'e decided to get a tube preamp and keep my Classe amps for now as I need to feed my second hobby (auto racing) were running two cars this year so I must put the audio upgrades on hold for a bit.
DAC and Jitter box question.........
Bjack, Why not spend a bit more money on better components than running so many jitter devises. Sending the signal through so many can't be good for the sound but if your happy that's what counts!
