Wireless speakers for a second room?
thanks for all the ideas! i have been looking at the links and googling, and most look feasable.  now it is just time to pick a price point and dive in.  i will probably start with a low price point item for background listening, then, depending o...
Wireless speakers for a second room?
randy-11:Not really what I meant.  I would like to put a CD on in my high end room and, by attaching some device to the headphone out, or similar, be able to have music in a second room without having to run wires through my walls, buy an apple TV...
Has anyone compared K150 tubes and the stock EL34s in Primaluna integrated/amplifiers?
i too have the dialogue hp premium and was thinking the same thing.  with the hp, i dont need the extra power, but have heard great things about the sonics.  i was also wondering where the kt120s fit into the picture sonically.
Help me get started again. Tube amp...
i am a lover of the LS3/5a, having purchased original rogers in the mid 70s and held them for 25 years until college funding caused me to liquidated everything.  i had owned many amps over that tiem period, and (due to their small size) brought th...

Best female vocal recording on CD?
Thanks - lots of artists to explore. As I look over the suggestions, some people just gave artists. With multiple album possibilities, how about specific albums from some of these artists?  (which disc should I buy first?)  And as we all know, eve...

Classic el34 tube amps versus current models
getting back to the el34 amps, i find it interesting that any of the older  conrad johnson (mv45,50,52 etc) or new (classic 60) did not come up in the conversation.  while it has been a while since i listened to cj, i remember them as very warm mi...
Classic el34 tube amps versus current models
Charles1dad-Thanks for your comments on SET amps.Given an under 3K budget, I suspect that I am in the mediocre range of 300b amps.  Leaning toward used for best value, what are the EL34s amps that you consider excellent that I should consider.  I ...
Classic el34 tube amps versus current models
Not to change directions of the conversation, but a friend suggested that if I like el34 amps, I should consider 300b single ended.  Any comments on the 300b versus the el34?
