Rega RB2000 - Bearing Play
If bought from a reputable dealer then it will be covered by Rega - you should not have that much play.  I have owned 3 Rega tables in the past (P5, P7, & P9) and none of them had a bearing play issue.
Help with Rega tonearm
Which turntable?  P7 had the RB700; not sure what the P5 had.  P9 had the RB900 and RB1000.  Vinyl Engine could tell you what model of tone arm with which table.

No issue when sub is out of the picture.  I have moved the sub to a location 15' from the TT to a non-corner in the room.  At high volume I still get some feedback thru TT but, at a higher volume than before.  I have moved my speakers, also, perpe...
Class D = Trash?
I had a Rotel RB-1092 that served me well with Dynaudio Audience 52SE speakers.  I enjoyed that paring quite well.
Very Bad purchase from upscale audio Acoustic Zen Adagio
I have bought a few items from UA.  One item I had an issue with (a phonostage) and Kevin immediately remedied the problem, plus threw in a second set of tubes (4 total).

...and I did remove my KAB RF-1 filter and noticed the music is much more 'cleaner'; that filtered appeared to be adding noise to the music.  Downside is the woofer pumping is back during TT usage.  I will have to monitor the gain and find a happy...

Listening room is on a second floor; suspended floor.  Main floor is a concrete slab.  I have done the dance thing around my TT and no problem with noise coming through speakers.  If I yell/scream into my cartridge I do hear a sound through the sp...
Upscale Audio -- Tubes and Reliability
Kevin D and UA are the cream of the crop to me.  Great personal service and he treats his customers very well.  If there is ever a problem Kevin handles it personally until it is settled.  I have bought from UA many times and will continue to do so.

I have moved my speakers and sub (crossed at 49Hz) to the adjacent wall - this has helped.  My sub is now approx 15' from TT and furthest speaker cable is 20' from amp.  I made some temp cables using 14/4 in-wall cable to try the relocation prior ...
Best value record cleaner/cleaning system
Not only is it important to deep clean but a vacuum is a must for removing any debris.  At the very least consider a nit with a vacuum - I use a Nitty Gritty MiniPro2.  I like the NG since the platter only touches the label area.

My main listening room is on the second floor, carpeted on a suspended subfloor.  I do not have the luxury of moving the sound system away from the speakers due purely to room size (15' x 15' x 8') and layout (open on two sides - second floor game...

I will be trying positioning the speakers and moving the TT a bit.  The more I think about this the more I feel the problem is airborne.  I may go as far as plugging the rear ports on the Audito Ms first to see if that helps.  Thank you to all who...

Thank you to everyone who has contributed their thoughts.  I will start by removing the cones and allowing the platform to sit directly on the isoblocks. I will also move the right speaker a bit at a time to see if I can eliminate those airborne v...
Noise, rumble and general intereference
Sounds like you need to look no further than Rega for your set and forget table.  Depending on cartridge choice you may need to get some arm board spacers.  I have owned the P5, P7, & P9 along with cartridges Rega Exact, Dynavector DV-20XH, an...
