New $24,000 inter-connect
Here we are in 2019 and I remain amused at the justice warriors throwing out rulings such as; "a farce, marketing hype, non-essential indulgence, gullible, bogus claims, insult (to working people), insult (to "legitimate" manufacturers), defies co...
Pass Labs - 350.8 stereo vs. 260.8 monos
Not really interested in the 250.8 but I like the thought of 34wpc of Class A from the 260.8 monos.   Anybody here own the 260.8s and can comment on their drive and bass capabilities as well as overall musicality?
Anyone living in Northern Michigan?
Kalamazoo here.  Summer or winter, its all good in Michigan.  BTW, you are still one bridge shy of the hinterlands.  Roll over to Shorts and have a brew! Try a Slurm Lord....
My Long List of Amplifiers and My Personal Review of Each!
WC, I have been considering Pass amps and remembered reading how much you liked the Pass Labs 250.8 and 350.5 when you wrote your OP back in 2016.  I am interested in the 260.8 monos but also maybe the larger 350.8 stereo, or 600.8 monos so I am c...

@ron17  I think it’s time we all adapt a "thicker skin" approach.I agree, after all.....its just a frickin stereo system.
Pass Labs - 350.8 stereo vs. 260.8 monos
Thank you @gdnrbob and @shannere I will give the folks at Pass a call next week but I would also enjoy hearing from any Pass owners here on the forum. The amps are so well made, it would be nice to go a step up in the prior line (i.e., 600.5 monos...
New $24,000 inter-connect
@rja +1I would add, for those buying $24K interconnects, at least know how to evaluate them. I wouldn’t buy a $24K car without test driving it so at least hear the interconnects in your own system and decide whether the sound is worth $24K to you ...
Is this the end of HEA?
Here is the even more "important" part of the post below by @electroslacker "One day I felt a switch from others telling me what would make me happy, to the power returning to me to use personal discernment in choosing what made me happy."I too re...
My Long List of Amplifiers and My Personal Review of Each!
I owned Acoustic Imagery Atsahs for over a year and I was hoping they would be my last amps based on the Ncore hype at the time.   Didn't turn out that way.  I have continued to wonder whether a different implementation of the NC1200 would provide...
Power Uber Alles ?
The OPs question is about power and quality. With respect to power, in my world, you need to have enough power for whatever speakers you choose, to play whatever music you enjoy, at whatever sound pressure levels meet your expectations for rea...
Power Uber Alles ?
@erik_squires have you experienced that bigger amps sound better, or is the overall quality of the amp more important. The answer is yes.@elizabeth made some good points I agree with,“Everything has good points, and bad... they all have compromises...

one short and one long speaker cable work?
It is not like you are building cables and deciding what lengths to purchase.  You already own a pair of 19-feet long cables so just leave both sides at the same length.  Cutting them will ruin the resale potential.  If possible, run the short sid...

Peter, the "Germans bombed Pearl Harbor" thing taras22 posted was a quote by John Belushi's character Bluto from the movie Animal House.  Dumb late 1970's humor from  National Lampoon.  I strongly suspect no disrespect was intended.
