Gradient Revolution Opinions
My room is almost the same size as the OP and I've been using the active Revolutions for the past 3 years. Overall the best speakers I’ve ever owned.See my system for further details.
Best loudspeaker with coincident/coaxial driver
Gradient Revolution(passive or better yet in active mode) has a custom made fibreglass coaxial mid/tweeter along with 4x 12" woofers and would be worth considering. Hard to find/audition but worth it in my opinion . Would works well is a room your...
Why are so many people trying to sell Harbeths?
Sunnyjim you are of course entitled to you opinion that the Harbeths are unfairly priced. In my case as I honestly preferred the $5695 M30.1s (UK made and imported thus causing inevitable extra costs to the US consumer) to the $26k (US made) Magic...
Why are so many people trying to sell Harbeths?
Hello Sunnyjim. the M30.1s have always been $5695–$6390 (per pair, depending on finish)I've personally never seen them advertised as anything else. Now that you know the correct price.I hope you'll be able to judge them a little differently.
Why are so many people trying to sell Harbeths?
Sunnyjim quote:'like the 30.1 for $12,000 plus' where did you see that price!!??
Starting afresh with a Linn Sondek LP12...
With the Sondek as source. Naim amps of a similar vintage ( which can still be serviced) along with either Linn or Naim speakers ( Sara or SBL's) etc that can be put against back wall would make for a classic 'flat earth' system great for classic ...

Devore or Harbeths to replace my ESL63s?
Andrew, They are actually quite small. Smaller for example than my Harbeth M30 ( or M30.1s ) on Skylan stands. But the active version go down to near 20Hz.Due to the way they work ( trying to remove the room) they have the best chance to performin...

Devore or Harbeths to replace my ESL63s?
As both a long term owner and admirer of both Harbeth M30 and M40.1s (owned for over 10 years combined) with a room a little larger than yours ( 16' x 14'. I'd recommend you try to listen to Gradient Revolutions . I've owned a pair of the active v...

Thanks for the replies . I will be able to compare the small Proac's ( which I really like) to the Harbeths ( which I love having owned both the M30s and M40.1s) pretty easily again as they are both in stock with my local dealer. The Magico's I can...
