Anyone using Nuforce Ref 9 Mono Blocks?

I've just started reading up on this amp. Does anyone have experience with this brand?

Do a search of the archives. There is a wealth of info available already.
Yup. Lots of good info and user opinions. I'm sure folks will add some thoughts here, too.
Ideally I'd love to listen to a Bryston 4B SST and NuForce sie-by-side but I can't, so I have to rely on reviews and the opinion of others.

So far NuForce sounds good but I've heard that Bryston is very good as well.

Thoughts anyone?

You can hear them side by side. It's a matter of funds. This is the answer...

Buy a used 4B SST. They hold their value exceptionally well. If you decide to resell, you can likely do so without losing much, if any money. I owned...and sold a 4B SST, so I know this to be true. In fact, I bought mine new, and sold it for a few hundred less than what I paid. You will definitely do better than that if you buy one used (that is only a year or two old).

Simultaneously, buy a pair of NuForce 9SE that are offered with a 30 day in-home trial.

Viola! You can hear both in your own home with very little risk.
I believe you should compare the two in your own system to answer the question of "What if?".

I'd like to hear more about the Odyssey amps.
Terrific, deep, tight bass reminiscent of Bryston. Organic midrange that to me sounds more real and possessing more soul than NuForce amps that I heard several iterations ago, but perhaps the Odyssey midrange is not quite as refined and transparent as that of NuForce or Bryston. This is nitpicking , though.

My pair of Odyssey Extreme Monos had some grain and brightness in the upper mids and highs that most Odyssey owners claim their Odyssey amps don't have. Maybe I had a unique pair.

Mostly, I believe they are an outstanding value.

Will the company be around in 20 years to support the warranty? Dunno. I don't have this question about Bryston. Nevertheless, I don't know a single audiophile who has owned the same amp for ten years let alone twenty, which IMO makes the length of the Odyssey warranty more of a marketing point than one of practicality.
I've never read posts by anyone so convinced about buying a product, and yet so afraid to write the check.

Dazman, order some NuForce amps. You can return them for a refund if they don't work out for you.
Man, it's tough.

Isn't it, though?

Maybe it's time to build ships in bottles instead?
Frankly, I wouldn't give my advice any weight. I freely admit I don't have a clue when it comes to audio.

Change the CDP. Change the Amp. Heck, you might as well chenge the drapes while you're at it.

Now, if I could just get this mizzen mast in place...
Yes, definitely change your source, amp or speakers. And the drapes. Don't forget the drapes.

I finished the ship in the bottle. It looks great. Much less stressful than audio.
Why don't you buy a pair of NuForce amps, which you can audition for 30 days, and listen for yourself?

Why the insistence on the opinions of others? Don't you realize that we all have different systems and tastes, and the only opinion that matters is yours?

Buy the darned amps and listen for yourself, you scaredy cat.
If your drapes are red and your carpet is blon...

...er, light brown, then yes you should change the drapes again.

Wait. Our drapes are red and our carpet is light brown. Crap! I need to match 'em lest the neighbors find out.
Lordy, Dazman, you're screwed. Is your room also square with cinderblock walls?

Have you discovered the joys of Jenga?
