Are manufacturers having discussions removed from Audiogon if they turn negative?

I have mostly been taking part of this forum occasionally, and from a distance if you will.  I have to admit I don't really know the kind of things that can go on, disputes or disagreements that can occur.  I have occasionally done searches in this forum using the search function to only come upon a thread that has been removed, oddly enough.

I have seen some discussions, and taken part in some others that become somewhat of a debate on certain brands, and they have become critical in some instances.  Usually fans of the brand in question rush to the defence, and from what I've seen, a healthy discourse occurs, with back and forth and occasional posts removed.  I'm thinking of smaller internet direct manufacturers such as your Emotivas, Schiit Audio, Ascend Acoustics and the like.

What I'm wondering is, have such companies had negative discussions stopped or removed?  Has anyone been part of similar discussions in which moderators suddenly step in and either lock or completely remove a discussion?

Gregb63,

I'll tell it to you like I told it to the crowd over on the deleted Tekton thread. Eric and Tekton have an established history of quality and customer service issues. These forums are full of the stories. If you choose to ignore them, that's your choice. Nobody is under any obligation to give Eric and Tekton every imaginable benefit of the doubt or to keep their issues with Tekton or their products a private matter. I think guys showing up on the scene casting absurd doubt on legitimate complaints and issues is nothing more than bullying. I think that jazz should be dealt with harshly.

There's no reason to doubt the OP's veracity, however, Tekton has been building a certain reputation characteristic of the sort of complaint the OP levied.

I'd probably want a thread removed too if some ranting fool like me went on like I did, but I think my point was proven when Eric tried to impeach the honesty of his customer, then threatened to get legal on people. Imperfect management decisions indeed, I'd say, and so would many others given how the tide turned.

The problem with your point is that this ranting fool isn't pointing to some heap of invented complaints. As pointed out above, they actually exist, and I didn't make them. I'm just pointing them out.
Foggythink,

NOW you're worried about evidence??? Why are you concerned with evidence and proof all of a sudden?
