I have a different point of view, having owned a Black Cube and not careing for the dynamic envelope in stock form. I would suggest the Gram Slee Era V, which will mate quite well with your MM cartridge. For much less money, the Cambridge 640P, suggested by Sanlanman is a great place holder and may end up being all that you ever need.

Yes, I know huge price differences, but I am a recent return to analog after 20 years away from the format and want to get it right the first time!
