David Lewis Audio in Philadelphia. David runs one of the most comprehensive and professional two-channel audio stores in the country.
I'll second the recommendation for David Lewis Audio. (If you go, it might be a good idea to call ahead and make an appointment with David to be sure you get listening room priority.) On the way to Philadelphia, you might want to stop by Audiolab in Fairless Hills PA for friendly service and a selection of high end brands. If you're looking for music, try the Princeton Record Exchange in town. Going the other way (toward the Northeast), Woodbridge Stereo in Woodbridge NJ is within fair driving distance and has knowledgeable staff and a good number of high end brands. If you're thinking about cable, The Cable Company is not far away in New Hope PA, with a small selection of high end equipment brands also. Have fun.
Savant Audio is in Princeton Junction, NJ - they have an amazing list of equipment, and I have ordered from them in the past, but I've never actually been in the store.

Also, if you have any interest in vinyl whatsoever, a visit to Princeton Record Exchange is a must.
