Do You own a Dual Cs5000? How does it sound compared to other Turntables?

Have you ever dobe a side by side conparison with Thorens Ariston Revolver Rega Linn Garrard Vpi Sota Technics etc. What was your verdict?

Which is a fancy version of the 5000. It is OK for a $400 used turntable. I keep it for the auto shutoff feature. Just in case I become feeble? Don't use it much, I have a 40 year old Dynavector Ruby 23 on it! I also own a Rega P5 which is better And a Kuzma Stabi/Stogi S which is wayyyyy better.

I would have no problem using it daily. But I really am not a turntable maven. On the other hand I can say the Dynavector Ruby 23 is a GREAT cartridge. And I agree the high current prices for the old tables is too much. Though maybe now I own Magnepan 20.7s I might be able to hear more of VTA and all that stuff.
