I disagree. Only if you had a local dealer, your long time bought everything there nice guy dealer, would that person do you a FAVOR and trade it. Sorry you ruined your cart, but no-one is gonna fix YOUR failure.
I have seen plenty of crying over "I broke my cantiliver on my $3,000.00 XYZ cart"! They don't expect the maker to fix it under some secrete 'putz' warranty. (though you might have a case if you paid for it with a credit card that warrants products bought with that card)
