Thank you for your note. I currently show we have two 220v orders on backlog - they are Hong Kong and Israel.
The Hong Kong units are done - we are waiting for Powder Coated Extruded Corners to arrive from our Powder Coater - we have been told they will be here Tuesday of next week. We apologize profusely for this delay as the extruded legs we have here were deemed B Level. We don't want to send B Level of course...
If this is Israel - we just Friday received 220v 1800 Transformers. The chassis is built and ready to be loaded. Our apologies here of course. We had to wait for 220v Transformers from our vendor.
In either case - we feel badly about our delay and we will send something extra to apologize.

I'm so very saddened to report that we just lost a good friend and uber-gifted Engineer in John Petrucelli
John was a very well know Engineer in the Pro Audio World and he has been our Engineer of Record on our Power Core project.
John passed last night. He will be sincerely missed...
We have a great team at Core Power Tech - that sad losing Tyler and then Scott and now JP... I hardly know what to say. Tonight it's music and perhaps even a glass of red wine.
The Power Core will make it's way to the market before mid-year, but it will be in a lower-power variant (where I believe re-generators work best) and done a bit differently then first imagined.
JP was our 2nd in Charge on the BOM Project I built for Emerald Physics - he did an amazing job along with Olga and Gary. They brought Doug Goldberg's work to life.
Sad day - I will however celebrate my dear friend with music and fond memories.

There is an issue I need to raise on this forum - and I will be doing so as well on our web site.
As we are dealing with AC Mains here obtaining Product Liability Insurance is never an easy matter. Our company has asked us to use US style AC Plugs - and not Schuko (or otherwise)...
Those desiring Schuko can of course have them - but we can only include them in the box re 50/150 and 300. We include an ECO Wattgate in this case. We do not install them...
Most folks are happy with a simple adaptor - but as this came up this morning I felt I had better let everyone know here. We do not charge for the Wattgate Schuko (or otherwise) -
This will be reflected right away on our web site as well...

Good Afternoon All –
Lots of goings on at Core Power Tech and with my family. I
think it’s a good idea just to update (thank you Kemper) and just give all of
you a view of our world as it exists today.
Core Power started as an attempt to do all we could to wring
out my experiences in AUDIO – and what I had learned about Power from many of
the masters. It’s been a wonderful two (next month) but much went into Core
Power before we shipping unit 1.
I learned from my experiences at Genesis, Audio Alchemy –
Perpetual Tech and others what goes into making a product that stands the test
of time. I’ve had a few of those – and I’ve also had colossal blunders with products
that almost cost me everything. We have a top loading transport that made
everyone’s Class A list, but this product was impossible to build and
replicate. It was a great idea gone bad – I’ve has my share of that.
Instead, we waited 14 months to ship Unit One of the first
EQUI-CORES. That study paid off and in total we are well in excess of 770 units
now with one shipping failure, three units failures and two returns in all this
time.
In the case of the Deep Core I work with three guys I call
My Rabbis and Priests. They are the heart and soul of the Alpha Team. They have
all been using DEEP CORE for more than 11 months now. I went Pre-Beta with
these guys to very Standing Ovations. One went as far as to say that this will
change Audio. I think he’s right.
I owe 9 of you final Beta Units (one of you is in fact
getting two units for his system needs) and these people will all get theirs
first. We had some hiccups along the way – but we are processing 65 units now.
Peter had asked me to listen one last time – I’m glad I did this.
The original design had 3 MOV-like (Metal Oxide Varistors)
in a Cascaded Array. MOVs are truly bad for the music but Doug’s new way of
using them seemed to work just fine ---- unit I got curious and decided to
jumper-in this array (thereby taking them out) and listen again…………… HOLY CRAP…
huge and very positive change. We listen – we listen some more ---- and then we
don’t begin anything until until WE LISTEN AGAIN.
Glad I did – DEEP CORE is going to change the Audio World
along with our new newer product called Ground ZERO. Shocking stuff actually. I’m
used to the market pressure stuff and to the posts where I’m called out for
this and that. I tend to talk about the products and get myself in trouble –
but that’s just me. I’m sorry… (maybe I’m not sorry)… 😊
I’ve also been held up due the house situation. By the time
we move in November 1st Lynn and I will have not lived in our own
house for 105 days (process on THAT) … We had one house ready to go that we
waited a complete build on but the Lender did not practice fair tactics and
after waiting near to 80 extra days we finally told them to stick it.
Instead we decided to build our final home and we rented The
Perfect House for the next 15 months – still in Broomfield, CO. This house has
near to 7000 square feet as nearly half of the house will be used for 4 Sound
Rooms to showcase products that I believe are EXTRAORDINARY. Many of you buy
from Underwood Wally but most of you don’t know that he bought that business
from ME as The Graham Company (Graham being my prized Chocolate Lab Boy) … he
later changed it to Underwood Hifi.
This house will be a home where anyone can come by and
listen all day long. I will have CPT Products along with speakers from a “few companies”
… most of you know I have designed and built ALL the Emerald Physics products
for the last 6 years. This has come to an end due to many factors but 90 +
percent due to my failing health (another big issue I’ve had to face up to) …
I’m getting better, but Parkinson’s is no walk in the park
and these hemiplegic migraines stopped me cold in September. Look it up if you
care to… it scared me mindless. I was so scared that I considered throwing in
the towel. BUT – when the going gets bad… we just have to muster up the mojo to
move on and get with it.
My granddaughter is going to help the business and two of my
Grandsons. Lynn is very happy about this. Peter Madnick (Constellation Audio,
Audio Alchemy and ELAC) will produce DEEP CORE and Ground Zero. We have what it
takes and by Jan 1, 2018 we will be shipping products from stock.

+++++++++++++ Hi Mark, I cannot emphasize how impressed I am with the Equi=Core 1200 in my stereo system. Every aspect of sound reproduction in my 2 channel system has been improved very significantly and with no discernable side effects. Noise floor is much lower - revealing details never heard before, bass goes noticeably lower, soundstage wider and deeper, vocals are gorgeous and also there is a sense of the sound being more like the real thing....like a live peformance. Background vocals and instruments are very easy to hear and place in the soundstage. I could go on but it just seems like I have had multiple component upgrades in my system. Lastly, video is also much improved with darker blacks, more vivid colors and with a more three dimensional look. Thanks Again

Our board vendor sent the first 6 units to us and they made a mistake with the "thickness" of the boards. These must carry heavy current - so we went back to them and asked them to re-make the boards.
Fortunately - they saw their error and the new boards should be here Friday. We have all of the parts in house already...
Doug does have Unit One up on his bench and he reports that it works perfectly. We are going to release a statement as to what does it actually do (deeper explanation than the one I've been giving people) shortly.
This is a very cool product and one that everyone will be interested in...

We have had a lot of initial success with our EQUI=CORE 300 and the WireWorld Matrix, and IEC inlet Power Bar. You can use up to 6 components (paying attention to max power) in this configuration.
Most folks are running these with their "front ends" - but we know of many systems running an E=C for their power amps or integrated amps.

Today I am
back at my desk and actually getting some work done.

professional and unemotional as possible.
I understand
clearly that my inability to “present” on a daily basis has caused upset and uncertainty
in places. The good news is I am on a Migraine Med that doesn’t interfere with
my Parkinson’s Med so I can once again watch TV and sit in front of my computer
monitor and work. My typing is slow – but my willingness is there to proceed.
We will have
a major announcement for everyone next week about my go-forward and the company
go-forward as well. I will not be in the daily drivers seat but here to help in
every way. Production will be taken over shortly – and we will be in a place
that makes better sense to all of us as I move through my medical issues.

My apologies for not getting back to this thread and the question asked. April and May are always rough months with 3 shows to deal with (we show at only two of them - but next year we will be at Munich) as well as new product introductions at EP and CPT.
The science behind Balanced Power has been proven out over decades, mainly by EQUI=TECH. Fabulous products made very well by a great company. We apply the same techniques and proven formula at more specific power levels.
Our balancing transformer was designed by John Levreault and was proven out over a near-to 2 year investment in design and prototyping. We split the 120v (+ground) into 2 x 60 volt legs out of phase to one another and utilize a "drain" to remove the Common Mode Noise. Our product works extremely well and has proven itself to be a major winner for those that have tried it.
The E=C is protected by a Fast Acting Circuit Breaker for safety.
The inlet and outlet cords along with the Male and Female IEC connectors we use are incredible and stand alone in their quality.
There are some wonderful power cords out there - some really sensational products... but Balanced Power in and of itself is THE PLACE TO BEGIN when dealing with inherent noise we all face with The Mains here in the USA. Well – the move is on-going now with storage units being emptied
and most of our household goods in place already. The new house is WONDERFUL,
and we feel truly blessed to be here. The 3 Sound Rooms are taking shape
already as well as the Personal Listening Area. In the PLA we will be able to
instruct those interested in Streaming Music and along with other Protocols you
will find fun and entertaining. There is plans for a You Tube Channel for those
interested, but not here in Colorado.

As to the 30 amp dedicated circuit - this is a marvelous idea and I've had this myself in my last house.
That said, the effects of Balanced Power on the equipment is in-and-of-itself a great way to go. The system noise level should be improved and the ability to deliver a (more) dynamic presentation will be enhanced. Lower noise = Better sound. This is a safe and effective means to improve your system at what we think is a reasonable cost (IMHO). Your transformers in the gear that the E=C is driving will thank you... :)

Good Morning,
As I'm new to this forum can anyone tell me if there are means to post photos? I have some before and after shots of our CPT EQUI=CORE that illuminate what I am talking about.
I know a lot of folks use the E=C after their conditioner (or regenerator) and find the results to be superb. That said, I would guess that 60 to 70% of our customer base plugs their E=C units directly into the wall socket.
Further - I would imagine that roughly 20 to 25% of our user base is using something like a Wire World Matrix in order to send Balanced AC Power to multiple units. I would caution to however to not exceed the maximum power spec for given E=C units. I spoke with a gentleman yesterday that was powering near to 600 watts worth of equipment on ONE E=C 300. It's working, but I cautioned him against it.
In June the prices will go up slightly as our metal work and powder coating costs are going up. We have made a slight change to the metal work as well (this is about how the panels attached to the extruded corner rails)...

Well... I have had a few guys tell me that they believed going in that the Matrix was not the best idea - but came out of the experiment believing that the overall result was really fantastic.
Of course we are glad when guys and gals buy more than one -
In my own system it knocked out some very low level hum I had, and I know of several people that have told me the same.
Not enough wall outlets is an issue (at good strategic spots in my listening room).

Deep Core
The Deep core is a multi-function power conditioner that re-defines
the category. The deep core is designed to not only provide clean, spur free
power but it also allows the user to optimize the power delivery interface via
a user adjustment. The optimization of the power delivery interface can
significantly affect sound quality as the prime power source is a major contributor
to attributes such as the noise floor and dynamic range of the system. The deep
core can be used with almost any system configuration providing optimized power
for both source components and power amplifiers. The deep core has the
following major attributes;

An Input
circuit that features a unique DC snubber which stops any DC , constant or
transient, imposed upon the power lines from passing through the deep core and
into the system. DC can saturate the transformers of source components and
cause voltage fluctuations.

After the
DC snubber the deep core has a complex common mode filter designed to suppress

filter is implemented with high quality magnetics that will not saturate

After the
common mode filter a second EMI/RFI filter is implemented that further cleanses
the power of unwanted out of band products. This additional filter includes
integrated surge suppression to insure that no high voltage transients, such as
the voltage from a lightning strike, will pass through the system

The last
stage of the deep core contains the adjustable power delivery interface. This
interface allows the user to optimize the power delivery to his or her system.
