Has anyone tried these stunning new CPT power cord?

   Considering the many, many brands of power cords I've tried in my very well accomplished high-end system, I have never been so impacted by these Core Power Technology power cords. Within a very short period(15-20) minutes my system literally came alive. Soundstage opened wider and deeper. The background became dead silent, space between instruments and stage members were more focused and everything sounded cleaner and musical than ever. My highs had a glorious crispness and symbols shimmered. Midrange through my 2" horn became more dynamic and punchy. My 15" bass driver tightened and dug low with great control. My Rel G1 which is a fabulous sub on its own but with a CPT 150 on it is another story. Running high pass from my sub to my Audiozen Noah amplifier, music depth is just stunning. Lower end bass is authoritative and clean with solid grip and impact. 
   My experience with these power cords is truly magical. The scary part of the above is I only have one 150 on my sub and one 300 from my wall to my 6 outlet bar. I still need 3 more to complete my system. I could just imagine the level after that...In closing, I cannot emphasize enough to try one of these in your system. I CANNOT and WIIL NOT take these out as they are that good. But hold your jaw, cuz what you've been listening to will just become real after Core Power Technologies.

I will be selling the 1800 watt model in about 2 weeks. It is a full 15 amp power conditioner with 4 Hubbell duplex outlets (for 8 units). It will retail for $1599.00. Info is here:

Under normal circumstances I never post anything other than ads on Audiogon. I’m making an exception as most of you will find out soon enough that I have purchased the Assets of Core Power Technologies, LLC.

 

This is a good opportunity for Underwood Hifi, Inc and I decided to purchase CPT as I have done very well with these products. I know the owners well, and I believe a few words are in order.

 

Mark had attempted to sell the company three times and had actual deals twice since April. He did the very best he could do to close these deals. How do I know, I know because in each instance I spoke with the “potential buyers” as I was the largest retailer outside of the factory since its inception.

 

I also know that due to a mis-fired product introduction and failed public-beta of Deep Core here on Audiogon the company had to close down. Everyone involved felt horrible, as did I. Once I reintroduce the new Deep Core it will be an even better product and unlike the previous owners you won’t hear much about it until they are ready to ship. It will be a full 1800 watt unit at introduction. I have spoken with the Engineers and Product Manufacturer that were/are being used, and Deep Core will be a great product when introduced.

 

The previous potential buyers worked hard to get these deals done but ultimately, they did not fund and that’s when I stepped in. I will run Core Power with the same integrity and business practices that I have used for Underwood Hifi, Emerald physics and LSA. I will be careful and diligent.

 

Mark has provided a list of everyone that he owes product or refunds to. I will be in contact with each of you directly via email or if necessary, telephone. I purchased Assets ONLY, but it is Mark and Lynn’s desire, as it is mine, to get everyone their full measure and the products they paid for as soon as I can.  The previously failed sales attempts cost Mark and Lynn everything. I know this personally.

I posted my phone number and am also emailing the 17 customers who are owed products to. I have spoken to 6 or 7 already. I am always available and will be working with all these customers to get them products as we get the 1800 and then Deep Core back in production. After 20 years of running this business I will let my reputation speak for itself. I do not do much posting as getting into pissing matches with people who don't know what is really happening is counter productive. Enough said. Call me if you have something you want to talk about and I will deal with anyone individually.

The deal is officially done and I now own the assets of Core Power Technologies. EQ1800 parts are ordered for the first 100 units that will handle all old paid for units as well as new sales. These should ship in March.The redesign of Deep Core to be a full 1800 watt unit is done and we will build 6 units in late February for final testing and to get 4 out for beta. I will then order the parts to make the first 200. June looks to be definitely doable and I hope sooner on US units. Looking for either June of July on 220/240v Deep Cores. Mark has no ownership of the new company. For those who care to know Dan Wright made the decision to not buy the company for his own reasons. Dan is a quality guy who I have known for many years.
