Brf, I tried new tubes, no luck. I did some research and it appears that this was common on the older units with the black resistors on the volume control. I am getting tons of feedback and hum and one channel is completely out.

They may be Holco resistors. I know Holco's had issues with high voltages. They would become very noisy.
