Kimber 12tc questions

Are the connectors generally soldered or threaded? Are there any indicators how to tell which without peeling casing back enough to tell. BTW, how do you peel this sleeve back without damaging it? Are there any situations that have been noted that the banana plugs used by Kimber aren't standard sizes? I am unable to secure the banana plugs into the my nad m22 terminals; the plugs aren't tight and come out effortlessly.
