Just use any decent $10 to $15 outlet - Hubbell and others make good solid ones.

You want a solid connection (for the amp) - nothing else matters at an AC power outlet

Wrong on so many levels.

@geoffkait,

The final test for any audio tweak is the listening test.
Please provide a list of the audio equipment used when you evaluated your receptacle cover plate.

Also what was the duplex receptacle the cover plate was installed on.
Were the contacts of the receptacle unplated? If plated with what? Nickel?
What was the material the body of the duplex receptacle was made from?
What was the material the supporting back strap was made from? Non ferrous?
Galvanized steel? From my personal listening experiences cover plates, other than flexible nylon cover plates, will sound different depending on the receptacle they are installed on. The nylon plate is about as neutral sounding as you can get. As always, YMMV.

Just to mix things up a little the ones I sell are actually resonantors. I know what you’re thinking - why would you want to put something that resonates there? Thus, you can employ them on UNUSED outlets as well as outlets for audio devices AND outlets for non-audio devices with good results.

You need have your doctor check the dosage of your meds. Or try something else.
Geoff,

I think it is obvious you suffer from some form of Demetria. Many of your posts are incoherent and you seem, need, want, to argue with everyone.

Geoff, do you even remember posting this?

Do you sell a wall duplex outlet cover on your website?
Have you ever tested it for how it impacts the sound of an audio system?

Spelling correction.

That should read, "suffer from Dementia", not Demetria.
