@littlecx refrigeration will prolong shelf life, I do have a syringe that is now on its way to the 5 year mark, and the product is still fluid.
@geoffkait No mystery to me. First off he did not received the first version, only Frank did, which was crude, but was good real good. He received the second version, and there was nothing wrong with that, actually good enough, that about half my system still has it. The sonic signature is the same!
My point is the Beta Tester dropped out for other reasons, had NOTHING to do with my product PERIOD. No hard feelings on my part, forgiven and forgotten. I have all the emails which paint a much different picture that was portrayed on this thread.
So, I thank you for sending him a little to try, and I am happy that he is impressed, we will see if he is impressed enough to purchase his own kit. If so he will be treated with the same respect and enthusiasm that I extend to all my customers, which I would like to thank again!
Stay tuned something big is coming in the next month!
|
@littlecx Thank you for your purchase! tracking number and package out today! Welcome aboard!
@mikeg Thank you! most of all trusting me on the major change and investment in your electrical system. Enjoy all the calls,photos, and texts, keep them coming!
@t_ramey Thank you Sir! I am elated with your praise and enjoyment of the product. Don't stop pasting pending my announcement, I haven't, and I know what's coming! LOL
|
@littlecx USPS CV057217163US
Package left yesterday as promised, thank you again!
|
@resolution1 Thank you so much for your diligent and thorough posting as to the results you have experienced. Hard to believe, but the product will continue to improve. Thanks again!
@barbapapa As long as your comfortable going inside the tuner, painting the top of caps, and pasting the transformer, should make for a large improvement, but remember PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK. Any questions do not hesitate to call!

@stoplitz The guarantee thing has been addressed several times. Over a decade of development. The components I use are expensive, the various processes involved expensive.
The size of this thread for only being started 6 months ago in the section of death is unprecedented.
I understand value as much as anyone, and I am proud to say there is nothing that provides sonic improvement vs cost like TC. Blind faith? there is way too many credible folks here for that to even be applicable.
|
@stoplitz that's funny thanks for the advice he was recently sent one.
|
@reseloution1 If you paint around the glass body as well, it will really enhance it. Be sure not to connect with the end caps ! If you like give me a call on fuses, and I will share my opinion with you. We have quite a few in our system 32 to be exact.
|
|
@mapman I am beginning to think you salute the red flag. Are you a Red Diaper baby by any chance?
Thecarpatian questions were fully addressed early on in the thread. His slick maneuvers posting on the ad, were nothing more then SABOTAGE. Removing his dribble, and blocking him was my only civil defense.
|
@mapman Just taking your advice!
|
|
@stoplitz Glad you tried the Black Discus, other makers of the same device include Stein, Bybee, Albat, and others. They do produce a large effect, and have been around for quite some time. One or two will give the illusion of a more lifelike presentation across the board even a big wow factor. However as more of the devices are are added, they do not compound well at all, to the point of the sound becoming a sonic cartoon.
I heard a rumor that someone has taken the technology in those devices to a new level. I was not told much, just that if and when it's released it would really shake up the world of tweaks.
|
Geoffkait Really, not very, how so?, you already know. Am I saying? No I am not, ask them. Who are the others? Pretty sure you could add at least one or two.
|
@wolfgarcia " I assume " That's all you seem to do!
|
@wolf_garcia Defamation, calumny, vilification, or traducement is the communication of a false statement that, depending on the law of the country, harms the reputation of an individual, business, product, group, government, religion, or nation.[1]
Under common law, to constitute defamation, a claim must generally be false and must have been made to someone other than the person defamed.[2] Some common law jurisdictions also distinguish between spoken defamation, called slander, and defamation in other media such as printed words or images, called libel.[3]
False light laws protect against statements which are not technically false, but which are misleading.[4]
In some civil law jurisdictions, defamation is treated as a crime rather than a civil wrong.[5] The United Nations Human Rights Committee ruled in 2012 that the libel law of one country, the Philippines, was inconsistent with Article 19 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, as well as urging that "State parties [to the Covenant] should consider the decriminalization of libel".[6] In Saudi Arabia, defamation of the state, or a past or present ruler, is punishable under terrorism legislation.[7]
A person who defames another may be called a "defamer", "libeler", "slanderer", or rarely "famacide".
The term "Libel" is derived from Latin "libellus" (literally, "small book' or "booklet"). Keep it up, and I promise to make you my next project! |
@geoffkait Thanks , but I do not do hand outs or charity. I have a even better idea! Lets take up that collection. and give it you so you can get a real 2 channel stereo, instead of playing make believe with the disposable plastic walkman. Do they even have a walkman category here?
|
The point is anyone can talk out their rear like the liar fear monger stalking this thread. All he has is the BS cancer scare. "Look it up" I did, but let me guess he's not a good enough Doctor for you, RIGHT?
Andrew Maynard, Director of the Risk Science Center at the University of
Michigan is not entirely convinced that there is an issue. “Donaldson's
work certainly demonstrates the potential for graphene flakes to
present a health risk if they are able to be inhaled and enter the
lungs, or penetrate to the region surrounding the lungs. But that is a
big ‘if’,” he told Materials Today. Pharyngeal aspiration
delivers particles – or platelets flakes – to the lungs within liquid
droplets and the droplets determine where the material is deposited.
“This allows early experimentation on what could occur if the material
could enter the lungs under handling and use,” Maynard adds. “But it
doesn't provide information on the plausibility of exposure occurring.”
We do not yet know whether graphene flakes can become airborne and
inhaled in a form that is dangerous during use.” Questions concerning
health risks – while important – remain speculative,” Maynard says.
|
You see even IF it is , you have to inhale it. So that's that.
|
@jetter Smaller quantity, yes it has been requested several times. It is under serious consideration. As far as your system not being resolving enough, I will share this with you. I have been recently working with a top manufacture, who has been implementing TC into one their top tier pieces of equipment during construction.
The manufacturer called me a few weeks ago, and shared as a experiment he went to Best Buy and purchased a $199 Sony receiver. He went through it, mechanical connections, painted cap tops, fuse. I think he said he spent about a hour or so inside. He was very taken back as to the sound. Same type of relaxed organic sound signature that you get with better components.
|
@stray_cat The insurance question which is a great and important one to ask! First UL certification and listing will be done on TC by years end. Once your electrician opens that panel, and changes just one thing, he is now responsible for the panel, including all previous work.
In the event of a fire, last electrician in, his insurance would fight with yours. In the end no UL listing, both insurance companies would be looking for me.
The odds of my product contributing to a electrical fire is ZERO. Some electricians will not use it without a UL cannot blame them in the least. Actually a fully treated electrical system, is as safe as it gets.

Good day! This is Tim Mrock developer of the new Total Contact. I have spent most of my spare time the last 15 or so years playing with contact enhancement. Early on after trying several, I tried Quicksilver Gold, top of the class for sure, actually cutting edge. The real genius in Brian's product was the binder. He was taken back with what I was enhancing.
I had nothing to do with his product development! I was the art guy, or creative applications. I also became the money guy as well for the patent pursuit. Took MY SWEAT EQUITY out of my home to go for the patents.
The problem with Quicksilver was to much binder and the fact you had to mix it. It does not take a rocket scientist to realize with that set up, that it is impossible to control the quality of the product. I never experienced degradation with it, but I poured most of the binder out before mixing.
I have very intimate knowledge with all available contact enhancers. Could go on and on, however that is not what this thread is about.
Total Contact is a engineered product. If you think it is as simple as A+B+C, and a little Cryo, and bingo, it is not, and by a long shot.
I also saw it put out there that TC cost nothing to make, oh really? You are welcome to contact me, come over and show me how its done! I cant wait!
I have loved Audio and Music since I was little kid, I hate snake oil as much as anyone. Tweaks they have to make big improvements for me or well, a no go.
I also see TC is being called goo, actually the correct terminology would be Cold Plating Compound. Goo would migrate, TC does not. I also suspect goo would not clean up or remove easily, again not the case with TC.
What happens after it has fully polymerized, and you want to remove it? Alcohol will easily break it down for removal.
If a connection is broke after it has polymerized if the connection is put back together exactly the same ,like a XLR or power plug it will self repair, at least once, I have not tried multiple times.
As far as the amount vs price, all I can say is less is more with this product it just goes on and on, like the testers have said. More than enough to do a really big system.
If TC is anything less than what has been claimed sonic-ally, It will be done within a month or less after the first tubes are sent out,that's a fact.
The only drawback with this new product is shelf life, 6 months for sure. Longer not sure. If the product is well received I will invest in a special mixer that will air-rate the compound that will dramatically increase shelf life.
I will before product launch load our system in virtual systems just to show we do have real skin in the game. I will also make the room available by appointment to anyone who would like to hear what music sounds like without micro arcing all the way to the electric meter, over 1000 connections in our case. We live 25 minutes to Manchester International Airport. Its worth the trip!
I honestly cannot be anymore transparent, or genuine then what I have posted.
The launch of TC will be exclusively through Audiogon & their Express checkout. The 9th is in 3 days not going to happen, confident I can make it by the 15th or close to it.
As a member of this community meeting the expectations of fellow audio, music lovers is more important to me than anything else! I would like to thank everyone for their interest!
|
|
@jafreeman
That's exactly right ! Thank you for the perfect text book description!
|
@maplegrovemusic
Yes, and thank you for the question. On the connections as log as its left on. The base metal under the connection will not oxidize either.
Yes 6 months and counting because that's the most time I have had with the 3rd revision. eventually it will harden. That's the number I feel comfortable with. Air-rating would improve longevity. Keeping it in the freezer will slow it, vacuum sealer to store it in would extend it the most.
|
Good evening all!
Just wanted to clarify today Is the 9th and as I stated no release. I am pleased to report I feel very confident as of this afternoon, I will be releasing as stated Monday morning January 15th.
Get ready, this is going to be a lot of FUN!
|
@geoffkait Nobody ever said micro arcing results in a loss of power. Nor does it.
Actually it does. easily measured with a lithium battery, a ESC, and a brush less in runner or out runner motor. However that pertains to a different hobby.
|
@hifiman5
It is noticeable out of the gate, one of the unique features is the break in is very linear, that's never happened before with contact enhancers.
|
@hifiman5
Yes sir.
You can almost set your watch to it.
Actually,when Frank hit the 4th week he called me right up very excited. At that point there was no way it could improve anymore he felt. I assured him that as good as the 4th week was, it was a taste of what was coming.
8th week to the day, phone rang and Frank was a very happy camper. The 8th week must be experienced, no amount of words can convey what takes place.
|
@sevenoranges How about you give a call today I would be more then happy to answer your questions.
|
@tommylion
I have been following your thread on the gutwire, which is excellent. Next on my project list. I am going to roll my own ground cables, and put together my own drain box. Like yourself, I was surprised at how important grounding points are. Last spring I put my new product on just the clamps on my grounding rods. It was amazing how those 3 points made such a huge impact.
|
@fazee
Thank you sir for being my first customer! Already on its way!
|
@tommylion We would love to have you over, yes 120 miles,well worth the trip.
Total Contact on the Ultimate Ground wire will multiply the effects a lot.
In the meantime something that requires no disposable income. Have you ever tried replacing any of your equipment screws and bolts with solid brass ones? Theaudiotweak suggested I try it starting with the screws in my speakers. I have replaced about 150 so far, for the cost vs yield in performance, nothing comes close.
|
|
@leggoslave
It is suppose to be, Checked all the appropriate boxes when creating the ad. Not sure what the problem is. I apologize to all having difficulty trying to purchase.
|
@tommylion I expect the caution, even welcome it, but yes special synergy. Its a fun ride, and due to the nature of the break in, 8 weeks goes by pretty fast.
|
@Deeperthought Thank you for posting the pdf great stuff. Unfortunately Wolf_Garcia has informed me because of the use of the phrase quantum tunneling your pdf is FAKE NEWS, lol
|
@sgordon Thank You Sir! Your fun has just begun. and again I thank you for the opportunity to have earned your business.
Tim Mrock
|
@tommylion MC-0.5 I use 5 of them, did mine months ago. That's all I am saying as well.
|
@resolution1 We never received the first one at 12;00 pm. Responded to the last one within a couple of minutes after receiving notification. We were on the phone earlier today with Audiogon, this stuff was supposed to be sorted out. My apologies very very frustrating. The listing should auto reload, so there is no lag in the offering. Please bear with us! Shipping will be on me for the trouble in your case. Thank You Tim Mrock
|
@resolution1 If the connection is broken it will not need reapplication, this can be done once. Multiple disconnections may require touch up only, not a complete redo.
|
@sgordon
I applaud your creativity! Should be dry to the touch in 2-3 weeks. Leaving it in a Southern exposed window will help accelerate the drying process.
|
@shadrone I have 35 panels under my belt. First for the scenario you paint, the product would have to migrate, it does not. Second I do not recommend at all individuals playing with their panels, liability.
I have already had a UL quote, have any idea what that cost? A lot, Hence ever see a aftermarket power cord with one? There are few, but not many. UL listing is on my list. When I hit a certain number of units sold UL will be executed. Thank you for concern for your fellow Audiophiles.
|
@slaw
You asked so I will share about sil-clear, only because I had a lot of experience with it, and it was not positive at all. Starts ok, seemed promising. did stop the micro arcing. At around a month the sound started going south, trying to remove it was a nightmare!!! Thank God I had not put any in my electrical system. I also wondered how they could sell such a large amount for so little? Want to know the answer? Take some put a drop of nitric acid on it and let us know what happens.
It is not my intention to crap on other enhancers, I have sat quietly and watched this truly revolutionary product dragged through the mud, along with my name, and reputation. My point with above example is there is nothing even close. Would you rather ride a horse or drive a indy racer?
|
|
@resolution1 Ziplock will keep it in suspension for a while, keeping it in the freezer will prolong it. Worst case, if it hardens on the brush, it will easily clean off, so the brush can be reused. My phone number is on the instructions, so do not hesitate to call!
Thanks
|
@slaw My apologies!
@resolution1 Your welcome, can't wait for you to try it.
|
@ Slaw
In case you missed it, I apologized, I am only human hence the apology, beyond that I really don't know how to appease you.
|
@a25105 Thank you for the questions, it has been suggested 2 or more folks pool up to purchase a kit. The shelf life is very very conservative. Video will be forth coming, along with a website.
|
@hifiman5
Thank you, all very good advice. Website fourth coming soon, including video. Working on the pro review. Also waiting for more fresh market feedback.
Frank is one of kindest human beings I ever had the pleasure to meet. I understand how his enthusiasm about TC appears over the top. All I can say is if you try the product, do the whole system, after the eighth week you will know precisely were he is coming from. I am in this thing for the long haul!
|
@resolution1 My pleasure! The linear break in, will make 4 weeks go pretty fast. Have fun and enjoy the music!
|
3 versions to be exact, and Frank chose to reveal that, all done in the beta. Wanted to extract every last bit of performance before bringing it to market.
|
Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful day!
I wanted to make a statement pertaining to the use of TC in electrical panels. I stated before I have 35 full panel treatments under my belt.
All were done with a Licensed & Bonded Master Electrician, My panel I did alone, but that is my legal right. My point is in no way do I advocate anyone going into their panel without a Bonded Electrician.
I also would like to state The reckless posting of the panel fire. It is obvious the poster has never been in a panel, the scenario it utterly absurd. For starters, it is almost impossible to create a short between circuits or the legs.
For the current customers that are going to have a electricians go into their panels, feel free to call me, I will walk you through the important contacts to do, which you will know what to look for while the job is being executed, or you can have your electrician contact me.
Have a great Weekend!
|
@shadorne
Proof? Wow, Tell you what, I have absolutely nothing to prove, especially to you. Questioning my creditably, hinting that I might be a liar.
Electricians? I have had 1 he has been with me close to the start of my journey his name is Christopher Roy, licensed Master in both New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. Want his license number then Put the time in to find it.
Second I did a panel service in Connecticut for a prominent reviewer. Used Herrick Electric, company owners name is Jordan Herrick, ask for him, sure he will provide you with a license number, and info about Tim Mrock. His company is licensed in MA, RI, CT, NY, for anybody living in any of these states, and needs and great honest electric work done.
Anything else?
|
@resolution1 Power cables are a good choice to show your friend. Thank you for your enthusiasm! No current needed, Oxygen does the work. 4th week, I would say when it happens, it sucks you in, What is this? Seems to be the typical reaction. You will know for sure! No mistaking it!
@mapman pretty soon, I will be listing one.
@candela007 You can not use or mix this product with solder! It is not a substitution for solder. I do not recommend pulling the covers off your equipment and looking for connections.
|
