Update on my office system. As reported earlier I had switched out my Office Depot “special” powers strip with an “Eichman” power strip. Before installing, I applied the TC to the new Crimson powerchord and re applied it to the male ends of each components power chord before re plugging them into the new power strip. Right out of the box it was an incredible improvement. I attributed most of that improvement to the new Eichmen strip and Crimson powerchord.
Now after about four to five weeks of curing. All I can say is that I am blown away by the music’s organic presentation, dynamics, pace, rhythm and timing. Eight weeks should to be incredible. I will report back at that time.
I have been very busy in my business lately but I have been buying and listening to a lot of various types of music late into the night. My listening sessions are long because it is not fatiguing in the least.
jafreeman,
Welcome me to the fun and Enjoy the music.

Eight week Office system update. After inserting an eichmen power strip. The 4 week jump was great but the eight week jump was unexpected. The bass definition and depth was more than I could have imagined coming from my 3 inch single driver speakers. The balance of the frequency spectrum was equally clarified, with stunning midrange and treble. For such a modest system it is truly a joy to listen to for hours on end. TC has been truly worth every penny I paid and then some. It is easy to apply and delivers on the claims that have been written about in this thread.
By the way I went to a speaker setup seminar yesterday evening and was treated to an amazing speaker demonstration that had Graphene coated drivers. 🤔
Happy listening.

Frank and/or Tom,
Advice and instruction needed. I have been hesitant to do any fuse upgrading, so if I dive in, I would like to get a base line by treating the existing fuse in the player with TC then upgrading it only if it makes an appreciable jump in sound quality. Not having ever done anything like this before, do I just treat either side of the fuse without getting any on the central portion of the fuse?
By the way the main reason for not wanting to spend much on a fuse is because I have been saving to get a music server and dac to eventually replace my aging Resolution Opus CD player in the near future.
Thank you in advance,
rc |
Frank,
Thank you for getting back. That is what I thought but still wanted to be sure. I will also speak with Tim since he may have a different take. I will let you folks know how it turns out either way.

For what it is worth, I have never been involved in any forum until this one. I am really glad that I could learn about the product from actual users. I purchased the product at my own risk. The bottom line is that TC has greatly enhanced the enjoyment in my music listening. I have also purchased more new music than ever before. This is why I enjoy my Hi-Fi.
Two years ago I was on track to upgrade my CD player but through the combination of upgrading with quality power chords, vibration control, interconnects and power conditioners, I was astounded to hear how good my computer/dac office system and existing CD player sounded. Add to that the eventual application of TC to both office and main system it is mind boggling the quality I am getting from my systems existing digital sources. Suffice it to say, I can now save up to get a proper music server and dac for my main system. TC was the tipping point in that decision since it got rid of a significant amount of the digital glare/hardness. Two years ago I was still was listening to vinyl 80% of the time.
I will be applying TC to my existing fuses next and report what I hear.
Rc |
By the way, TC was the most least expensive of all the above mentioned upgrades plus it improved all aspects of both of my systems.
Rc

The interesting thing about those trashing TC is that they have not tried it for themselves so that they can prove that it is detrimental to the sound quality or physically causes harm to their systems. I was concerned about both of those items and stated early on that I would report that in this forum if that turns out to be the case.
I am very protective of my Hi-Fi and it’s sound quality so I started out using the TC only where it could be is cleaned off on my less costly office system and old CD player’s power chord and umbilical. To date the only negative thing I have heard was a slight brightness to the sound just prior to the eight week curing period. After that however, the sound did improve dramatically almost to the day as mentioned.
So far I have, no complaints and lot of happy listing. The only complaint I do have is that I am not getting enough sleep because it really hard to turn off the music.

For what it is worth,
I am glad that OP brought TC to a forum on audiogon because I am enjoying music through my Hi-Fi like never before. As stated before, this is the first forum I have ever participated in.
I do not know OP except through this forum. Further, I did not know Tim Mrock until I spoke to him. Once, prior to ordering the product and twice after I receiving it. Each time he has been responsive, gracious and informative.
The product has performed far beyond what I thought it would for the price of one Shunyata Venum Defender, I have two and they have been treated with TC.
I like the the stuff so much that I treated a dealer/friend of mine, small started system with TC for him to evaluate. I also discussed TC with another dealer/friend with over 35 years in the business and he said to let him know how it performs and ages in place. He has tried all the afore mentioned treatments mentioned from the beginning of this forum and is rightly skeptical. This is the main reason I have been conservative in my treatment of my most costly system components. The main concern he had was the long term performance and physical integrity of the material. He never called me delusional or any of the other names. He did however give me some specific things to watch out for. So far everything has been positive, but I will report if any performance or physical abnormalities present themselves.

David Pritchard,
My 86 year old mother went blind two about two years so it has been very trying for her as well. However she does like to listen to the TV since she never had interest in Hi-Fi. I treated the cable and the electrical chord to the TV when she was away at a doctors appointment. I never told her and never even asked her about it. About three months after treatment I noticed that the TV volume was set at 16 not 19.
I hope your mother continues good health.

Grannyring,
Even as consevative as I have been in the application of TC, it is quite stunning that the amount of sonic gains that can be achieved with such a minimal investment. My biggest gain in SQ has been in my digital front ends. I never thought that I could sit through an entire cd or my computer based office system and listen to two or three songs without getting tired of it. I have been a vinyl lover for about forty years, but after upgrades to interconnects, power distribution and the TC application, I now enjoy digital as much as my vinyl front end. I did not ever think that could ever happen. I just wanted it to be more bearable.
Now after these upgrades I am so impressed with the removal of the digital glare from my system, that I am seriously looking at a reasonably priced server and dac.
keep on listening,
rc
|
Stolitz,
Yes. I got more resolution from from top to bottom with any power, interconnect and the TC improvement at lower volume levels.
Rc |
My first applications of TC were the last week in February 2018 and have not been disturbed. I only treated interconnects, all power chords, power conditioners and power strips. I have still have not gotten to any fuse treatment due to work requirements. Interestingly enough, I did not expect any further musical refinement, since I never treated the interior of my equipment, wall outlets, electric panels etc. However, in the last 2 to 3 weeks I have noticed that the music taken on a more life like tonality. Better pace, rhythm and timing from top to bottom. I have also found that I can relax while listening since my mind has to work less and less to complete notes, that were once obscured by system noise, on very familiar recordings.
As as I noted before, the digital sources have really benefited the most, in my system. It sounds as if the digital “glare/hardness” has continued to deminish over time while the dynamics are steadily increasing.
As of this date, I still have not heard any negatives in the overall musical presentation.
By the way, I love being a delusional, brain washed, etc... audiophile, as I enjoy my Hi-Fi.
Enjoy the music.

Frank & Tommylion,
Ditto. My experience with it as well. I do not want to do without it. Lots to like so far.
rc |
Frank, tommylion,
This new deal is for real. I am am finding a huge expansion of the soundstage, and a much greater instrumental definition and tunefulness.
I did not think this level of improvement was possible with my old CD player
The best part is that I had no idea what to expect!
Rc |
The synergy between the TC and this “thing” is similar to the SQ gains obtained when I installed and broke in the the AU24 SX Audience interconnect, in my main system, about a year and a half ago. I am so glad that it was in place before I applied TC and this “thing” because they together have gradually created a more powerful musical experience that I did not think possible in my system.
Enjoying the music,
rc
|
Frank,
I agree, that with the new item, it took the the better part of a day for it really begin to do what it does in conjunction with the CD player. This is the kind of thing that makes this hobby fun.
rc
|
Stray_cat,
In my main system it has made my digital front end more organic and dynamic top to bottom.
Rc
|
Stray_cat,
If you have not yet started using the TC I would start having fun with that, since in my experience it is the best value in tweaks that I have come across in my experience. It can be used on interconnects, power chords and other places that others have mentioned in prior posts.
Doing that should bring you a great deal of satisfaction in the way your music is played your existing system.
Have fun,
rc |
Stray_cat,
I treated my office and main system and still have one third of my TC tube stored in my freezer. I did not go inside my gear, so I do not know how much you might need. I treated all my systems’ wall plugs, power conditioners, power strips, power chords, computer usb cable, speaker cables, tv, cable connections, and all interconnects.
As as for the new “item” I do not know what technology it is based on so I will have to wait along with you for an explanation. But I will say that is easy to use and it has given the music a more organic effect on the CD player’s presentation.
Have fun,
rc |
|
Stray_cat,
If you read my much earlier post I had just got done tweaking my main and office systems with Audience power conditioners, power chords, interconnects, shunatta venum defenders and stillpoints. With that in mind, TC was the least expensive tweak of all the above tweaks, considering that it treats and upgrades the Sound Quality of your aoudio and visual system(s). Further, I have not heard any negative or reduction in Sound Quality over the last four months.
Have fun,
rc |
Just a thought,
John McDonald of Audience AV, in a recent interview mentioned “Currently we are investigating nanotechnology (nano-conductive sprays and nano-substrate deposits) and their uses to improve sonics.” Seems like this delusion is spreading.🤯
Keep up the good work Tim.

Geoeffkait,
It is nice to have this technology in our hands to directly enjoy those benefits Now, in our Hi-Fi’s.
Take care,

Anyone,
I was ready to place an order but the listing on audiogon says that “this listing has ended”. Further I sent two questions today around 12:00 pm and about 20 minutes ago and have not received a response. Anyone know what is going on?
Thanks |
Tim Mrock,
First, I needed to know the following. Does a Total Contact treated connection that is disconnected need to be cleansed of the previous Total Contract treatment and then re treated prior to being reconnected? or does it needs to be retreated at all?
Second, I re check at audiogon listing and it does seem to be active again.
Thanks |
Tim, Thanks for the answer. It took a while to upload.
|
Tim,
I am scheduled to get the total contact today. I just need to know if I need to “clean” off the applicator brush or do I leave the residual from the application on it? If so, do I need to put it in a ziplock bag to keep it “hydrated”? If I need to remove the residual, do I use rubbing alcohol?
Thanks |
Tim,
Thank you for your prompt responses. |

Tim,
I applied the TC to the interconnects and the speaker cables in my office system last night but I really had no time to listen. That is as far as I dare go until we speak later.
Have been working and listening for about an hour and here are some quick observations:
1. lower noise floor 2. insruments resonate more fully. 3. Music sounds more organic and detailed.
So far so good, nothing negative only positive so far.
thanks
|
Tim,
Thanks for walking me the process on the power chord treatment and usb connect treatment.
After this treatment together with earlier treatment, I find the improvements to be cumulative. All previous improvements are definitely more focused. Further the bass has tightened up significantly and is more tuneful.
The bottom line is, the music has better pace and is more engaging without any negatives.
I have spent more for less improvement in years past. I will let know when I dive into my main system and if I hear any improvements at the four week period.
Thanks |
Frank,
I just wanted to let you know that your enthusiasm got me interested in the product. The science links put me over the top.
I am enjoying the music.
Greatly appreciated. |
Tim,
I just treated only my CD player interconnects and it’s power cord in the main system. It seems that the immediate impact that the TC has is that it drops the noise floor. Associated with that, the base is tightened up and the mid and upper frequencies become better focused. I would say more organic.
The best part is that the character and frequency balance of both systems have not gotten hurt in any way. They just get better.
I just upgraded power chords, power conditioning and some interconnects within the last 2 years, not cheap, and I was satisfied with all those upgrades. I also have also elevated all my components and speakers on Stillpoint ss and minis. I was a bit sceptical however, that this product has been able to reveal more musical detail without any negative sides. I seems as if I upgraded a power chord or added Stillpoints in the system.
This product is as advertised so far. Even if it does not improve as previously mentioned, I am very happy with the results so far. I will keep you posted as I go.
Thanks |
Tim, I treated the Audience AR2p TO power conditioner and the Audience power cord AU24 SEi going to an eichman powerstrip, that my main system plugs into. As mentioned in my last post, the CD player that I treatmented last night, also plugs into this powerstrip. That improvement by itself was quite noticible. Now, combined with this treatment, I can safely say that the improvements in clarity and dynamics are cumulative.
I went though this as I was upgrading power chords, interconnects, and adding the Stillpoints over a two year period. The main difference is that each TC application maximizes each of these already quality upgrades for so little money.
After just about five days, I can say that this stuff is a bargain, even if it does not get any better after “break in”.
I will continue to treat different links in the chain and report back.
Thanks
|
Ronrags,
You observations are dead on about Tim and the sound characteristics brought about by TC.
Thanks, Resolution1
|
Ron,
I did “invest” a lot into all the upgrades and components over the years and found this to be a huge bargain for the gains we are getting thus far. I’m glad I took a chance on it.
Enjoy the music!
RC |
Tim,
I have a question in regard to “break in”. Does the “break in” period require current to be flowing through the connections in order for it to occur within the 4 an 8 week periods?
Thanks |
Tim and Frank,
I will be visiting with a friend that might like to try the TC. Knowing him well, the first question he will ask is of the break in pattern after the initial application. Would you describe it as a slight or steep improvement between the initial application and week 4, or does it stay level then jump at 4 weeks?
Finally, should I treat the power connections in the system in order to provide the best sample demonstration? So far the power chords have provided the most dramatic improvements in both of my systems.
Thanks
|
soundlogic,
When I ordered, Tim sent me an email confirmation/tracking number within a day. It took another day for the product to get to the post office. After that I was able to track the progress. Once I got it, I had some application questions. I called the phone number on the instructions and he was very responsive and helpful.

Application to XLR and other strange connectors.
If anyone has XLR termination on their interconnects or serial terminationated unbiblicals, I suggest you get in touch with Tim for specific instructions. He was very helpful and specific about the process. This one of the reasons it has taken so long to complete my system. It is slow and tedious but well worth it.
I hope this helps that has these “issues”
resolution1 |
Tim,
I just completed my office system power chord connections. I was not expecting a whole lot since my office system is not as resolving as my main system but it made a significant step up in clarity, PRAT, dynamics, soundstage etc.... It sounds way better than it should. The power strip is a ten year old Office Depot $20.00 special! That’s my next upgrade.
I will let you know when I complete the main system. That should be interesting.
Thanks for for a great product! |
David,
I had a similar experience with my opus 21 CD player. Not with fuses but with the umbilical, power chord, and interconnect. They were the first treatments in my main system. The timing seemed off. I removed 2 of the five still points from under the transport and it got a little better. However, I stated listing to the same rotation this evening and I was shocked as to how much better it sounded after 72 hours from the initial application. It may be a break in issue?
One of the advantages of taking it one component at a time is that we can hear how it effects each component thus being able evaluate the break in. In my case it worked out well, since I don’t think I could have removed the product from those small sockets.
rc |
@klh007,
I applied TC just to the outside of my USB connections, as Tim directed, and noticed an improvement. I use an Audioquest diamond coming from my Mac to my fav. It removed a lot of glare from the music.
rc
|
Tim,
It is day 6 and I am am working at my desk listening to the office system and I am experiencing something I did not expect in sound quality improvement since yesterday. The noise floor seems to have dropped further. This has allowed the musical detail from the low to high frequencies to play in a natural dynamic fashion, without any glare. It is even more organic an real.
rc |
Frank,
The outside of the connections not the cables.
rc |
Update;
My office system has been completely treated since Sunday and have found the bass deeper and more tuneful. This is coming from a 3” single driver audience The one V2 speaker. The rest of the frequency spectrum is still magnificent. The best thing so far is that I have heard no I’ll effects or back sliding on any of the improvements.
My main system is still not completely treated but will be completed by this weekend. However the bass has displayed the same deepening and tuneful improvements. Notes resonate more fully and are more decernable and thus I work less at completing notes in my mind which helps in longer more enjoyable listening sessions.
So far no regrets at all.
rc |
Update,
I treated the speaker cables with TC. I immediately noticed more resolution from all the previous applications. I am able to enjoy the music at lower volume levels without missing a beat. The best part is that when I do turn up the volume, I am less likely to turn it down since the digital glare is deminished so much.
It is if I upgraded my speaker cables. The cables are Audience Conductor SE running from a DNM amp To Audience 1+1 V2+ speakers.
I have yet to treat any interconnects to the Pre amp and Amp and power cables other than my CD player and power contioner and power strip. This Is due to my cautious nature, plus I got down the rabbit hole of listening to music. Oh ya, that’s what we do this for!
So far I have enjoyed every step along the way. Like reported earlier, I went through this as I upgraded power cables, power conditioners, interconnects, speakers and floating my components on Stillpoints over the last 2 years. I did not think that this product would make this kind of difference in resolution and musicality. I am not suggesting that anyone should not upgrade components, speakers, interconnects, power cables etc. I just think that so far that this material makes the most of any upgrade I have made in both of my systems without changing the basic character. I will report again as I treat more of my main system, if I can stop listening to music long enough.
One more note, I did not enter into this lightly, since my more experienced friends/professionals cautioned me, that some of the other contact enhancers previously mentioned in this thread have had varying degree of success and possible degradation problems overtime. This is why I have been so cautious in diving in to my priciest components where it would be more more difficult to remove.
I hope this helps,
rc
|
Frank and Ron,
Most of the initial feedback has been very similar to mine. I had a vague idea of of what the improvements might be in relation to noise reduction but I did not expect to what extent that the noise floor and digital glare was reduced.
I will try to put it into perspective. As I have mentioned in prior posts, I just completed several interconnect, powered chord, power conditioning, and still point upgrades over a two year period. Each time I was able to do in home evaluation in each of my systems. I would not have purchased any of these items for fanthom improvements because I trust my own ears and spend wisely. Thus, this is the most risk I have taken in any Hi-Fi purchase, and so far one of the most rewarding so far, for the money.
rc
|
Tim, Frank and Ron,
One of of the reasons I decided to do all this upgrading in the last couple of years was because hearing loss runs in the family. So I was wanting get better clarity from my hi-fi before I had any serious hearing loss. Therefore, I was and am serious about these upgrades and I have rejected a few tweaks/equipment along the way.
As stated before, this product has taken all the previous upgrades I have done to my system and clarified them further without any drawbacks. It simply helps equipment, wires etc... get out way and brings out soul of the music.
All along the way I have judged how my hi-fi plays music vs live music. The TC has helped my hi-fi get closer to this ideal. The bottom line is I am listening to more and more music and it sounds great to me. Thanks for getting this product out there
