I bought my 12AX7s BBs from Andy, as well. He is a tube guru. I believe he is going out of business.

Andy is thinking of retiring. I would take advanatage of his services while he is still at it.

Thanks for the replies above so far and thanks to the members who have sent me info. directly. Andy has been a good source for me but unfortunately right now doesn't have any of the tubes that I'm currently looking for, that's unfortunate in way that he is going to retire but heh if he does good for him.

Have you tried Jesse Brent? He too has a pretty good rep.

Try "Davilyn Corp." in Oxnard, CA. I have no experience with tubes, but this outfit carries a lot of new surplus tubes from the aerospace & related industries. Maybe a new source for you tube folks.

I don't think that he has any on hand, but Jim McShane is another good source for tubes. Incredibly helpful and willing to take the time to make sure that you find the "right" tube for your needs.
