Popping when kids are jumping

Mass and elastic.
I would not go 'poking around with a stick' inside an open amplifier with it turned on.. But that is just me.
I do swap duplex with power on at times.. Some things are scarier. (mainly due to fear of blowing up amp.).
Anyway, my notion is get a nice 20" or 24" suitable concrete patio square for $4 at Builder's square. and a couple of rubber pads.
I also added tip toes under the concrete, but that may be unneeded.
I also use #10 butyl chemical bottle stoppers.. But any sort of rubber bumps will do.Amazon has sorbothane rubber feet. main ones called "Isolate-it"in all sorts of weight carrying sizes
Place the amp feet on the rubber on the concrete square.
Problem solved.

If you think the fault lies within the amp - with it turned ON and nothing connected to it other than speakers,  lift one side maybe 1/2 " or so and let it fall back down,  try both sides. If theres a loose solder joint or connection inside that can be exited by the quite small vibrations form bouncing kids on the floor, above will certainly expose it.

OK, so it’s likely the amp. Turn it off. Open the amp. Turn it on with speakers connected and no inputs. Use a thin wooden stick to gently prod at different parts inside the unit until you cause the popping. That should indicate where the fault lies.

It sounds as if from your description that some connection possibly speaker binding post inside is loose in your Plinius amp. 

Pardon the delay, busy week.  I turned on only the amp and hesitatingly jumped, jeez it's awful.  Turned the amp off, dac on and gone.  We have hardwood floor...should I get a plinth for the amp?  Call an electrician or is this something...I dare do myself?

Disconnect everything but your amplifier.

Dance around and see if you still get the popping. That reduces your issue to power or amp.

It’s a 6 year old condo and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a wiring issue. How does one confirm that? I’m using Sonos, sorry for not mentioning it. I checked all connection and they were tight, I’m about to check again. The popping comes from both left and right and sounds like more the mid and tweeter.

Do you use a CD transport?  It could be the laser misreading.

What is popping? Do you mean the woofer is making large excursions at a low frequency? Vibrations are being picked up by the tubes in your DAC. To test, remove DAC and switch to other source when your issue are in repetitive vertical motion.

Sounds like a loose connection. Check your wires and binding posts.

How old is your home? This could be a home wiring issue.
