Power Cord Break In

Does it make a difference breaking in a power cord using an amplifier opposed to a DAC?  I'm thinking the amp would be faster than the DAC?

Agree the more current flowing the faster the power cord will break in. I ALWAYS put a new power cord on either the amplifier or the Furman conditioner (which also uses a lot of power.) for at least a few days.
My amplifier idles at 275 watts.I leave it on 24/7/365. Same for the conditioner, with a few less watts at idle with all the stuff plugged in left on. I do like to hear how the cord changes during break in. Good to know, in general! (same with IC)
The person who made fun has 11 posts.... And I think it was a 'joke' rather than making fun of you. IT is difficult since English has no punctuation for joke. We need one for joke, and a separate on for sarcasm/irony. Seriously no one is making fun of anyone breaking in a power cord on a fridge. A lot of folks do it.
