REGA P3 with J.A MITCHELL Unicover - Concern???

Hey guys, I'm using the J.A Mitchell Unicover on my Rega P3. The cover (because of the raised protector for the arm) is causing the SUBPLATTER to tilt in the direction of the raised protector for the arm (I assume because of the slight added weight on one side of the Unicover. Is this a cause for concern, will it damage any bearing over time?
