The 6000 was offered as a separate arm, the 7000 was sold with the Sirius 'table and I believe was never sold separately. I sold a 6000 a few months ago here the 'Gon. the Rockport and Versa Dyanmics air bearing linear trackers are in another performance realm compared to designs based on porous bearings like the Kuzma, Airtangent, Forsell, etc. Mikey covered this well in the Rockpoort 6000 and Kuzma Airline reviews for Stereophile. Good luck finding any of these arms, very few are out in the wild and their owners tend to hang on to them for a very long time.
Rockport Technologies Series 7000 Linear Tracking Tonearm
greetings,
Since Simon Yorke has left the vinyl scene, I'm searching for another
quality linear tracking tonearm for my Series 7 turntable.
I'm particularly interested in the Rockport Technologies Series 7000
Linear Tracking Tonearm.
If anyone has direct experience or would like to share their opinions
on this tonearm I would be greatly appreciative.
I'm also interested in the Kuzma Air Line tonearm, and how it would compare to the Rockport.
kind regards,
david
