I don't think there's anything to worry about unless you're getting thumps or big cone movement at power up. Those relays only need time to charge the power supply caps and if the PS doesn't have a bleed circuit they'll hold a charge for days or weeks. My old Marantz units click in the speakers in less than a second.

Maybe someone can answer this question.
Is it normal when switching on an Primare a30.1 the startup time is less then one second (switching from standby to operate). The music starts to play in less then one second (after two relay clicks). Most ampifiers i've had took a couple of seconds.
Just trying to find out if my purchased primare is working normally.
