Speakers with deep base

You're looking for deep bass. Not base.

Look at Zu Definition, AudioKinesis Planetarium Beta, among others.

I suspect for that size room, and at your budget, you will need subwoofers, which both of the above mentioned speakers include.

any of the Wilson Audio speakers, or higher model B & W's, they have great bass.

Interesting, Macdadtexas. I think there are a number of possibilities from the used market, including Von Schweikert VR4 MK II and MK III (not the VR4 Jr series).

Among new offerings, I can't immediately think of any other than the AudioKinesis Planetarium Beta previously mentioned, but I'm sure I'm overlooking some obvious candidates.
