Stillpoints - snake oil?

Anybody here using Stillpoints Ultras? My dealer thinks highly of them, but I am very suspicious.

Are Tip Toes still being made? I remember back whenever they came out. I still use a few like under the Furman REF 20i to get the under vents up out of he carpet, (at almost 80lbs it needs something rugged. The Tip Toes are perfect for it on carpet.)   Years back I bought a cheap couple of racks with GLASS SHELVES. My go to foot are butyl rubber chemical bottle stoppers size ten. $1.50 a pop. good combo for thin tempered glass shelves. I own a LOT of them. And I use a few of those stick-on dome sorbothane things. Not the audiophile, expensive ones. I am way too cheap. Just like $100 cable risers.. What??? If I wanted a rise out of my cables, I would use discarded toilet paper tubes, or paper towel tubes cut down. You could even make them look really fancy painting them black. ooh. (I tried risers, paper tube ones, but seemed too annoying, and got rid of them.)
At heart I am still a cheapskate.
MY main strong point is DISTANCE. My audio equipment is away from the speakers, and the electronics mostly to my immediate left.
And the turntables even further back behind and to the left. So the TT are over ten feet away from the speakers.
Only the amp is near the speakers. but behind an additional clear foot, and clear by two ft to each side. The amp sits on a 70 lb concrete patio slab
MY playback is typically at 50dB to 60dB. Though of late breaking in stuff I am up to 70dB a lot
Interesting comment. Great way to make friends! So we are all 'D-bags"? curious. And what did we all do to deserve that glorious distinction? Inquiring minds would like to know.
I agree experimentation is a good thing. Then YOU actually get to know, and somewhat understand what is happening. Plus folks who say it can't be, well, not gonna bother you, since you actually did it.
audiotroy... you make me want the next upgrade toys to be vibration control. Well done!
A downside of more points of connection is, each one carries less weight. Part of the design is to channel all the weight through. When there are 'more than three', the problem arises of balancing the stress each is under. IE with four, one may be slacking off. With five, two may be slacking off, and creating more problems. It is a lot harder to adjust FIVE than four. When I had speaker stands with four spikes, I had to use a system to allow me to pull on a film under the spike on a pad. So I could find the height that gave each foot the same pressure. a PITA if I wanted to move them. (had to do all over again.) with five, just adds to it.
Wonder what would work under the wide oval bases (Width of speaker, and about eight inches to front and back) on my magnepan 20.7 speakers, or on the brackets?
The speakers themselves are only 2" 'thick' and seven feet tall held on to the base with a thick aluminum triangular bracket via bolts. so only the bracket is actually touching the base the speaker itself hangs in the air a quarter inch above the base. The bases sit on carpeting.
