Sumiko Blue Point 2 and Linn Linto

I just picked up a Linn Linto, and have a moving coil Sumiko BP2... the rating on the BP is 47k ohms, but the LL is a MC only phono stage.  Are these going to work together?

Not a good combo. Change one (the cartridge) or the other (the phono stage).

Would make sense to look at a better cartridge that would match up well with the Linto.

thanks, that’s what i thought... going to try a Hana Shibata. specs look good to pair with my tonearm.  i thought i knew a lot about this hobby, but analog is a whole new challenge.
