The DAC version of the Meridian CD Player

I've owned, and loved, a number of Meridian CD Players, including the 508.24 and the 588.24. Now I want to build a computer system, and am looking for a DAC with that sweet, musical, organic Meridian sound. I would use it quite often with my headphones, so a built-in headphone amp is a huge plus.

Antelope Audio Zodiac Gold. The best sounding DAC for the money, IMO. Has inputs, headphone jack and volume control so can be used as a headphone amp and/or preamp if desired.

Antelope Audio is well known for their time clocks used in the professional audio recording and mastering industries. Very good stuff.
