What are you using as a controller for your audio system?

With the advent of digital, I noticed many Audiophiles using a wide variety of devices to select and control what they listen to, and how. Some are using DACs and bypassing preamps, some are using their android or iphone as a controller in combination with a streaming and/or storing device. Some are using their laptop computers.
I am using a dedicated IPad mini with a Bluesound Node 2 to stream and play music from my NAS. I also use that dionosaur, a CD player with attached external DAC.
What are you using and how is it configured?

I have a few options for controlling my system:

  1. Mac mini - Amarra Luxe and sQ+, Audirvana +, and HQPlayer for library play. Deezer desktop app for streaming. 2 DACs connected via USB ports, HDMI out to TV.

  2. Pixel 2 & HP Chromebook - HQPDcontrol app for controlling HQPlayer.

  3. iPad Air & iPhone 6 - Amarra Play app for controlling Amarra Luxe and sQ+, A+ Remote app for controlling Audirvana +.

  4. Chromcast Audio - casting mainly from the Chromebook.
