Houston, Delaware living in a Futuro house since 1977 and this is where I will stay till the day I die.I have had many sound systems and home theater for watching opera.I finally settled for Magnepan speakers driven by 833-A triodes (It takes these quart-size tubes to drive Magnepans) and after hearing this combination I lost all interest - except as a spectator - in owning any other system. I design and build my own amps and preamps which I like better than the limited choices of some very good equipment I could buy even if I could afford it.
@tomic601, I see from your virtual system pictures that you have several really nice systems and a fantastic view!

I'm in the Navy. At the moment I'm based in Japan.

Japan has these interesting stores called "hard-off" which always seem to have rare and esoteric hi-fi equipment. I got a Technics SE-A3 amplifier and 3 way set of Goto Unit horn drivers for very reasonable prices.

Soon I'll be transferring to Norfolk VA and hopefully there will be some sort of audiophile community there I can get with.

SoCal, Orange County, Irvine. 71 degrees today and sunny but damn it gets down to 47 at night!
